Don't forget, Eugene Scalia, who was nominated by Bush for Labor attorne. He had his "Borking" back in August. It was almost as bad as the "Borking" of Aschroft with the usual rat bandits, Leahy, Fiengold, Kennedy, Feinstein. The issuse for his confirmation is that of ergonomics, that he onece termed, "junk science" but gave a full and honest explanation for his use of term he had written earlier about. He is one of the most qualified Attorney's to have ever been nominated for that position, yet, there has been nno floor vote. Sen. Reid form Nevada, was on the floor Friday having a coloquae with Don Nichlos,R, from Oklahoma, the minioity whip, and told Nichols, that there might be a problem with bringing Scalia to the floor for debate. These Dems are outrageous. I have e-mailed Leahy and all other Dem Judiciary members. No response from any except, Feinstein who advised me that I was not one of her constituencies. These Senators forget that serving on the Jud. Committee, that does not discount the fact that they represent all Americans in their actions. I thinks all Senators see their role in that light. Perhaps we need to educate them.

What the country desperately NEEDS is a Republican senate. I sure hope we get one in 2002. Hmmmm, good time to once again mention that you can direct your political contributions to politicians who really are on your side by funneling them through The Club for Growth.

Leahy is anti-American and passes secrets to the enemy, thus called the leaker.

Also, please see this article on the recent career of our favorite Senator. It's LONG but documents how the esteemed Sen. P. Leahy's (D-VT) got to the position of power he finds himself in (Sen. Jefford's defection) and his general bias and incompetence.

I found the present article (......Fuzzy Math) interesting in that the Washinton Times is trying to put some pressure on the good Senator.

"Eighteen judges . . . eight more . . . another 10 . . . will approach 30 . . . exceeding the total and doubling the total . . . nine hearings . . . twenty-eight judicial nominees . . . two unprecedented hearings . . . including one that no Republican bothered to attend." And there was even more helpful information from Mr. Leahy. "Five hearings . . . 21 nominees . . . two nominees," he wrote. "Commercial flights grounded . . . anthrax contamination . . . the Judiciary Committee kept working," he explained. "Five more judicial nominees . . . hearings on 10 . . . hearings on more . . . held more hearings . . . more nominees . . . more nominees . . . confirmed more judges . . . does credit to the Senate."

PS. .......and a partridge in a pear tree! Hahahahahaha.

Rush talked a little about this idiot's ramblings last week on his show. One wonders, from the above exerpts, whether he is incompetent or just plain malicious (or both) in his stone-walling of Bush's nominees.
