Wish me luck and pray for my surgeon. On monday (12/10/01) I am going in for a triple by-pass. Not a rush job as this has been scheduled for about 2 months.

The Dr. is a cool guy. His name is (seriously) Dr. Fang! I have forgiven him coming in with a "Dummies Guide to Open Heart Sergerie" book. I did ask him if he could do this in his office. That got a rather interesting look!

Three years ago I had prostate cancer treatments. I opted for radioactive seed implants Ninety-nine little nukes stuffed in my Prostate. After the procedure, I noted to the Oncologist that it was kinda neet 'cause now, when I get up at night to 'tinkle', I didn't have to turn on the light! Another odd look.

In any event, I will be out of commission for a couple weeks. I hope the FR site will survive.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. The procedure now is so common, not nearly the dangerous operation it once was, so I know you will be fine. Sounds as though you have a great attitude too, so that will help you on your recovery time!

My husband had a triple by-pass three years ago. He's doing fine and in the best shape of his life. I'll keep you in my daily prayers for a quick and complete recovery.
