I have heard that the number 11 is an important number to occultists. It is perhaps no accident that they chose 9-11 to attack the WTC to move us closer to a New World Order (11 years to the day after George Bush Senior's new world order speech). Also, the World Trade Center buildings themselves were built like a giant eleven. Not surprising, since David Rockefeller pushed to have them built, even though there was no need for them and they went half empty for years.(I think they may have been built for the very purpose of knocking them down later. Occultists around the world wont mistake the significance of the giant eleven crashing down. The final timetable for the New World Order was unmistakably set in motion when the towers fell)

We will be told to put on our tin foil hats..but I think you are correct

is completely unaware of who he is until his 11th birthday. On the day he turns 11, Harry is tracked down by the wizarding community and invited to enroll in Hogwarts, the elite boarding school for young wizards and witches."

On the other hand, the reason for it being his 11th birthday could be something to do with the fact that, at that age, British children move from Junior to Secondary school, don't you think?

Post #153 perhps applies to your views, too.

Harry would have been at Junior school until 11, then moved to Secondary. In this case, Secondary School turned out to be Hogwarts.

Or is this point just too humdrum and logical for you two?

Neither of you need tinfoil hats, RnMomof7, but you do need to know things like this before casting aspersions.

Better watch out..Kphera will show up with one of his creepy Jesus animations, and then everyone's favorite self made deity, Rnmomof7 will condemn us all to hell...

It is not nice to gossip behind peoples backs..I say it to your face..you not only lack spiritual discernment but the courage to face those you gossip about..

I do not comndem anyone to hell...that is something folks choose for them selves!

Actually it wasn't behind anyone's back, it was put on the thread to goad you all to come aboard and make our day a little funnier...

You see, behind your back would be via private e-mail....

Funny I didn't see a ping on your post..I was not posting on this thread..so it was intended to be a behind the back slam..that is if you can be honest with your self..

Is that supposed to be humor? It would have been funnier if you had said you would skip your next wicca spell class to do proper penance....that you would have to use your "spell check " instead..

"I was being facetious about the Catholic remark,"

I understood that ok, I used an extension of the satire to bring out my specific items.

I'm Not Catholic. I'm no longer a member of any Organised Religion. I'm too Independent now and have been for too many years for anybody to Structure my Spirituality.

I know Jews and Catholics who've done the same as me. We're Christians. Man's ego and eagerness to control other humans, as it has advanced these days, makes it impossible for some of us to band into an organised religion.

The Bible has warned us also of the sudden increases of knowledge we're witnessing today. It also points out the moves to Apostate Churches. That's where I feel we are today.

"who's up for a good old-fashioned book burning?"

Not me!

In fact I suggest reading "Lord of the Ring" by J.R. Tolkien.

It will be out on the really big screen in January 19.

You don't need to check anything with me, that wasn't my point.

Patriot76 trying to link the fact that Harry Potter went to Hogwarts at age 11 with some supposed occultic significance of that number. I pointed out the fact that British school children change schools at 11, which is a fact. Rowling would have no hidden agenda in this whatsowever: writing about a British schoolchild, she'd have no other option.

"Do you actually believe that the British royal family are Satanists?"

Do you believe that a family can believe that they are by birth Superior to other humans?

It is no longer God who chooses Kings on the Earth. He installed some humans to rule over others in Biblical times, to guide them on His Path. Man's nature rebels against that But the examples and the laws are there, it's our free will that makes the decisions. And Humanity is Losing the Choice game.

And Humanity is Losing the Choice game.

It's important to remember that it's just a big game, too, since only a very select few Calvinists are going to be saved. All the rest of you are going to hell, which is unfortunate for those who thought they were saved as Baptists, Catholics, Lutherans, etc. and were always good/never had any fun. They might as well have been out partying it up with the Wiccans, dancing naked around a bonfire and getting some nooky, since, as non Calvinists, they are doomed anyway.

Oh, and there's no loophole either. You can't choose to be a Calvinist. God has to choose you, so no sneaking into heaven, any of you - the damned. You're all doomed. DOOOOOMED!!!

I heard that she was on welfare. How could she afford a cruise? Hmmm.

Give me a king-sized break, tin grin. I could break you and that pansy The Goblin in half on my worst day, and still have time to watch Ben Grimm explode as I put a Ton-Tongue Toffee in his cappuccino.

Oh crap Harry, look who's turned up on FR! But it's ok, Hagrid is here too. Now all we have to do is find Ron.

And I think you'll be safe for a while. Old You-Know-Who will be too busy zapping the happy-clappy potty potter bashers to bother with you for some time yet!

I thought she said in interview that she came up with the idea on a train.

Oh well, some types of Christian never let the real facts get in the way of some nice juicy lies and distortion.

British Rail is a lot less luxurious than a cruise, believe me! ;-)

Potter author J.K. Rowling claims to have come up with the idea for Harry Potter while on a cruise. But given the fact that she is British, that Britain has rampant witchcraft and occult activity,

You respond

Do you actually believe that the British royal family are Satanists?

I do not know about a plan..but I do know that Christianity is dead in the UK.."spiritualism" and it practices are the most common "religious practices"Princess Dianna was always running after one type of fortune teller or another..

I think like alot of people that post on these thread they think that witchcraft is a spiritually neutral...and some kind of game. That would make sense in a secular culture that has no Biblical ties.

I happen to believe that God will have mercy on whom He will have mercy. Those that are His will not be deceived..so everyman is free to do what is "right in his own eyes".For those that think there just might be some truth in the bible I quote from Matthew

Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.IMHO It is not possible because of Gods grace working in them has given them Spiritual eyes.. So to the rest of the world it is a game, they may play because God allows man his free will choices.

I heard that she was on welfare. How could she afford a cruise?

From this Interview:

Where the idea for Harry Potter actually came from I really couldn't tell you. I was travelling on a train between Manchester and London and it just popped into my head. I spent four hours thinking about what Hogwarts would be like - the most interesting train journey I've ever taken. By the time I got off at King's Cross many of the characters in the books had already been invented.

And so the cruise becomes yet another distortion of the truth, just like the claims that she "majored in Mythology" when every bio I've seen says she majored in "French."

If it's true that the books are evil, then why can't they be discredited with the truth and not distorted facts?

They're spooky because they're invisible!!!

Anyway, what's your take on the distortion/twisting truth angle?

This is a serious question. I really don't have any problem with some Christians' problems with HP (I understand them, given your world view), but why is it necessary to twist the truth? (I'm not getting at you lot personally, please understand that!)

Sort of strange that she is so well educated, yet made to appear as a struggling poor writer.

Education, especially in the arts, doesn't always guarantee employment. And, she was divorced. I've not seen any stories talking about her child's father, which would lead me to assume that he was not involved and/or not contributing. But maybe she just doesn't want him getting any of the royalties...

Thank you for the courteous and thoughtful reply.

Then too, some feel they have to exaggerate in order to shock people out of their complacency

This sentence interests me. Wasn't it Eusebius (sp), an earlt church Father, who said it was basically OK to 'lie for Christ' when converting the pagans?

This is one of the stupidest, sloppiest posts I have ever read on FR. The authors are so intent on getting across their ludicrous concerns about witchcraft and spells, etc. across that the can't even bother to get the names of the books' characters right. (Makes me wonder whether they actually read them.) Witchcraft ain't real, jed, it's make-believe!
