Here it is Christmas Eve, and I just recieved a request for prayer from a close friend. Cheetadog has just come through a major surgery yesterday and is still in severe pain.

Any and all prayers for her recovery is greatly appreciated friends...

Three years ago, I had surgery on 18 December. So when anyone asked what I got for Christmas, I said, 'A laporoscopic cholecystectomy.'

I don't recognize the screen name, but will pray for a good night's rest, and relief from pain for Cheetadog. My Mother spent Christmas day, her birthday, in the hospital 6 years ago. It was a precious time for all of us.

My dear sister-in-law was a nurse in that hospital, and gave Mom obviously extra-special care, as did the rest of the nurses. Mom came home in time for all of us to enjoy our family gathering the weekend between Christmas and the New Year.

Lord, she is still in much pain, and I ask that You place Your comforting and healing hands upon her for strength and endurance. Surround her with Your angels for protection and companionship during this time of healing, and Father, release her from severe pain. Thank You, Dearest Father! In Jesus' name I ask these things, to bring comfort to Your own...Amen!
