I am a disfigured, disabled man who just turned 48 Christmas day. I have cancer on my right nostril, which makes it appear if I've been shot in my face. I have nerve damage where my lower, right leg is paralyzed, my left leg not that bad, but still afflicted. My hands are numb, with my right hand like when people sleep on their hands, and wake up with it tingling.
In March I was told unofficially I had passed on twice, maybe three times--but I came back because my wife, Silverwoman, and strangers on the internet were praying for me.
And, I am healing now--thanks to prayers from Freepers taking time from their busy lives to pray for someone like me. My affliction on my nose is shrinking, the pain all but gone and the bleeding virtually nil.
Wasn't that long ago I used a walker; then, a stick or cane. Now, I can walk relatively far, without the cane or stick--or the braces :0). I still have an obvious limp, but it is improving. AND, Silverwoman got a pretty new watch for Christmas, but it was too large. I was able, with the Lord's help, to adjust it with my formally useless digits.
YOUR PRAYERS are working! :) Prayer works. God does hear them, and He's answering us with love and speed. I am proof, praise the Lord :)! Your prayers for me are being answered by our Loving Father. Thank you, Freepers, from both Silverwoman and myself. Hallelujah!
This thread is vital and important. Free Republic is read by more people than we imagine. Satan is on his last legs and will push to afflict as many as he can before his end, soon. More people will be needing prayer warriors during these end-times, and we'll be here. Yet, we need to pray for both Jim Robinson and billbears to keep this important line open. It may be calm now, but the devil is still on the loose...

You are so right, brother! satan is on his last legs, as evidenced by the many evil deceptions and tricks he is using on us almost daily now.
