Tommy. Yahoo is doing something weird to my computer. It's saying it's downloading yahoo companion integration component. It got to 59% hasn't moved in eversolong. Now, it just says installing. I can't close the box, nothing. I can go to other Yahoo chat rooms, but NOT ours. Grrrrrrrr.

HI EVERYONE! It has been a busy time out this way. We got to Phoenix ( Paloland) on the 22nd and had a great time. Got back on the 26th. That 9 hour drive is something! We were beat for two days. Then yesterday I had a banner birthday... Got some nice pressies and then out to dinner at the Madonna Inn which was featured on the show Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous some years ago. The food was very good, the service sort of so so and the Christmas decorations were awesome! The overall decor is a bit gaudy but interesting nonetheless. If you are ever in San Luis Obispo ya gotta stop in and just see the place. Ozzie went hunting for gold today despite the rain and cold damp weather. Me... I just sorted Christmas decorations and so forth out so I can get ready to put the decorations away for another year.
I'll look around at the threads to see what you kids have been up to in the last week.
HAPPY NEW YEAR, ONE AND ALL!

Hey, CG! Welcome back! Sounds like your drive was better than ours. We drove to Idaho, left on the 22nd, and had to spend the night in Winnemucca. It is normally a 10-11 hour drive to my mom's place, but I80 was closed for a few hours due to idiots spinning out on the summit. We ran into heavy snow from Lovelock on, and just gave it up for the night when we hit Winnemucca. The Super 8 was the first motel off the Interstate, so that's where we holed up. We had a great time visiting my mom, sisters, niece, nephew, bro-in-law & etc's. Good to be home though. the kitties really missed us!

No, Mo...you're smart, so put it in the basement, out of the way of the brood and you won't disturb them.
Or, were you just giving me a taste of Philly attitude??LOL
To: habs4ever
Hi, Habs,
It is nice to be back! I have really missed all you guys and gals. I see we have some newbees too! Welcome to them. Ringy still looking for a doggie? Boarder Collies are wonderful and so are shelties! And they are about the same size too. Smart little dickens. My dad's dog, Tejas Chief, used to heard the dining room chairs!
Ringy, if you are still looking for a contact, I know someone who has got all his boarder collies from one fellow out here who also trains them. The dogs are wonderful and soooooooooooo smart. Let me know if you would like me to link up with this friend of ours. His dog, Shane, is a working ranch dog up in Wyoming but the dogs are from here in California.
To: habs4ever
Me .. a Philly Attitude ... Well I never .. lol
No Habs .. I just wasn't sure ... oh this is sad .. having to sneak down to the basesment just to talk the my computer .. lol
They are gonna think I really went over the edge .. hehe

Watch out for those little gas stations in Lovelock! When we were there two years ago, we stopped in to fill up and ended up with a flat tire compliments of a bunch of crooks at the gas station. there was soooooooo much help... way out of the ordinary even on a slow day in a hokey town that size. When all of a sudden.. we had a flat tire on the camper! Funny, at the last gas station the tires were all fine. Trouble was we could not prove who put a hole in the tire with a sharp instrument!
To: Mo1; Letitring
Oh poor Ringy ... what it's not loading right?? It doesn't work because it is garbage software. It has the look and feel of something developed by a bunch of former IBM Cobol Charlies
Stick to your guns Ringy, I refuse to use it.

I have to bug out, take more meds, try and get some sleep, which has been bloody impossible too! Ta ta...

We didn't stop in Lovelock, sounds like a good thing. I had a weird thing happen to me at a gas station in Concord a few years ago. I pulled in to get gas, then when I was pulling away and stopped waiting for traffic to clear, someone tapped on my window and told me that my car had left behind a huge puddle of oil. Hmmm. I pulled back in and checked the dip stick. Since I had checked it earlier in the day, I knew what the level was. No change. the guy didn't believe me, or pretended not to. He wanted to put my car up on the rack, yada yada yada. I said uh uh, my hubby could check it out, etc. and drove away. I could see the oil at the pump where I had filled up, but someone must have put it there.

It has been wilder than a bunch of March hares! Next Sat we have to go to SOCAL for an open house for a niece and her new hubby. They got married in Evenstan, Ill and then went to London and Paris for the honeymoon...nice huh! Now the parents of the bride are hosting an open house for the couple so we can see the pictures of the wedding and all the rest of the events. Then on the 12th we go to SOCAL again for another wedding of a niece!
I hope that my time will be more my own this year so I can make more progress on the house and yard...and of course... be here on FR. Good thing there are now arrest warrants issues on us drive by posters. I hate missing all the news.
By the way, I have tried to read some of the threads and I wonder where are Darlin and Wings?
