I heard the following on my local NPR station yesterday morning:

"There are terrorists living among us."

So says a coalition of interest groups including loggers, miners, farmers and developers who regularly confront environmental activists. But are they? Are they terrorists? According to new legislation, the brazen confrontations of the suffragists and the principled disobedience of the civil rights movement could all be termed terrorism. This week in California, the definition will be tested in court. The Star Wars 17, Greenpeace activists facing felony charges for interfering with missile tests, are going to trial in a nation where the old rules of "what was acceptable" are out, amidst a new atmosphere of "what won't be tolerated." The best part is the whining of the wackos over being charged with felonies. They're prepared to suffer for their cause, but only if it's a slap on the wrist.

THey talk to ELF and ALF people who can't answer a straight question about domestic terrorism.

Thanks for the ping. The more publicity these frauds get, the better-- eventually, everyone will get as cynical about "science" as I am, and then finally, maybe the scientific community will clean itself up. When the creditbility of "scientists" falls to the level of lawyers, the voters will de-fund this crap.
