NEW YORK The United Nations is gearing up for what could be yet another explosively controversial international conference, this time over charges the organization wants to create a powerful worldwide tax bureaucracy.

Supporters see the International Conference on Financing for Development, set for Monterrey, Mexico, from March 18-22, as a chance for world governments to address a wide range of financial issues related to global development.

I wonder what it will ever take for a people to understand the United Nation's true nature, and how much a threat it is to our form of government?

"I wonder what it will ever take for a people to understand the United Nation's true nature, and how much a threat it is to our form of government?"

Unfortunately, It will probably take the complete dissolution of our govt. before they realize that we aren't just conspiracy theorists trying to taint the "good name" of the UN.

I think we really need to start puttin gpressure on American politicians, especially Presient Bush, to take a stand on this. We have to turn this into a litmus test issue for every national candidate.

What's the use of catching up with overseas American tax cheats, if a scumbag US president is just going to pardon them at the last minute?

There is no amount of money we can recover from cheaters that would justify cooperating with the UN in this or any other matter.

I've been telling my friends for a long time to listen for the phrase "harmful tax competition". They just smile and nod, "yeah right". It won't be much longer now.

I think that we should embrace this idea of the United Nations taxing people but only after United Nations employees are taxed first. United Nation employees' earnings should be taxed cumulatively by all member countries. ;)

Everything the UN is involved in, no matter what the guise, is about re-distribution of wealth. The Racist Conference in Durban was about shafting whitey for "reparations"; Kyoto was about shafting whitey's business. At least now they're coming right out and saying it in plain english--we're gonna shaft whitey...period.

Now is the time for the US to get out of the UN, before some scheme like this can be foisted upon all of us.

Now is the time for the US to get out of the UN, before some scheme like this can be foisted upon all of us.

"This is scary. They're talking about establishing an extra layer of government at the world level," said Veronique de Rugy, an analyst at the Washington-based Cato Institute. "Their goal is an international tax cartel … that would work to keep taxes high."

Scary? How about all of the following: terrifying, horrifying and terrorizing.

High-tax countries like France have long lamented their loss of human and financial resources to lower-taxed nations like the United States. An international tax agency would thus work to reduce such "tax competition" between nations.

Nothing like leveling the playing field for the parasitical elite.

As long as the UN was dependent on US handouts to pay the bills, it couldn't put up the money to pay for what it really needs to become a one-world government: its own military and police forces.

Now that it's about to get the ability to tax individual citizens and businesses.....like the song goes, "Oh How the Money Rolls In!"

If this wouldn't spark a U.S. civil war between liberals and conservatives, nothing will. Let's just hope that our elected officials are smart enough to make sure this is immediately stopped in its tracks.

Time to get back to jumping on the Critters by using mailblaster.com and free2fax.com and let them know that there is NO WAY we are going to allow the UN to interfere with our sovereignty anymore! We need to put a stop to it here and now...they'll be sneaking thru the Tobin Tax if we're not careful!

The United Nations is a power hungry beast that is seething with a growing hatred for the control that the United States government exercises over it. It is desperate to find away around the U.S. government to get directly to the citizens of the US and tax them, and the rest of the world, for it's own support and ambitions of power. The next step they say is to have control over it's own standing army, equiped with the best technology that it expects the United States to hand over to it.

Already the United States is off the Human Rights Commission, replaced by that guardian of human rights Sudan. This was accomplished with the full cooperation of France and our other European allies. If our friends in the U.N. deal us such treachery, just think of what our enemies in that body want to deal us. The United Nations is doing every thing in it's power to wrest the veto power of the United States from our grasp.

Here are some statements made by the United Nations that we should all keep in mind. Soon after the Senate passed a package of 34 treaties, (by a voice vote, after failing to even read the treaties) with the United Nations, giving them joint control over 75% of our Federal land, they issued this statement, "Due to urban sprawl and SUV's, the American citizen has forfited his right to control his resources, someone had to take charge."

How about this ever popular statement about the Global Court issued after the Congress, Bush, and the Senate reminded the United Nations that it's authority over the citizens and military of the United States could not come unless the treaty was ratified by congress, "The United Nations does not recognize the right of congress to ratify the Global Court treaty, President Clinton signed the treaty and as far as the United Nations is concerned the United States is under the authority of the Global Court."

There was a very good reason our Founding Father's warned us about guarding against becoming involved in the entanglements of foreign treaties, they saw it as a great danger and yet our SENATE is passing treaties without even reading them, giving over the sovereignty of the land and resources of the United States to a den of thieves and enemies of the United States, and by a voice vote, no less, so that the charge of treason cannot be laid at their individual doorsteps, I suppose.

I have news for them, the United Nations once it gains the power they seek, will in no way allow itself to be under the control of the United States. In fact, it will reluctently destroy this country, if it has to, in order to be the only big dog in the neighborhood. They had much rather have our government sell us out and cooperate in it's bleeding of the money making citizen work horses, but failing that, certain members of that entity will not only entertain the idea, but follow through, on the destruction of the United States and the eventual take over of it's resources. It doesn't take a prophet to see the writing on the wall, just follow the natural progression of things.

"Usually the U.S. is in favor of financial privacy but now it is seen as something that protects terrorists."

Financial privacy is also "something" that protects private citizens from the government. Dear ol' Ben Franklin certainly knew what he was talking about - "those who would give up essestial liberties for a little temporary saftey...", etc., etc., etc.

The ONLY thing the U. N. wants from the U. S. is Her resources - money, industrial knowledge, natural resources, communications networks and let's not forget WORKER BEES....
