PhotoPoint parent shutters operation

"The parent of online photo site PhotoPoint.com shut down last month and is liquidating its assets, but it expects to announce a plan to return photos archived with the service within one or two weeks, the company's president said Monday."

My guess is that the creditors will re-activate the site and then charge us to download our albums. The physical assets are probably worth little to them, but the "intellectual property" might be of value.
