The makers of the islamic website have taken their page www.qoqaz.nl offline. They called co-muslims to prepare for jihad, holy war, by joining shooting-ranges or to enlist with the Dutch army. According the only announcement on the site is www.qoqaz.nl closed 'to ensure that no more misconceptions occure'. According to them the media has misinterpretated the information. The foundation behind the site, the Hague Funds Beyond Frontiers, was not willing to make comments on the case.Www.qoqaz.nl was all about the fight of the islamic mujahideen in Tsjetsjenia with pictures and videos from the rebeling Russian republic. Also Dutch muslims were called to do their 'muslimduty' by training themselves military style.

I think Azzam also had snuff films of the ragheads slitting some poor Russian kids throat. I think they had an article on their site encouraging ragheads to come to Chechnya, so they could make their own personal snuff film. We have to kill all the muslims to have a safer world.

www.azzam.com and www.qoqaz.net are still up -- I just checked them. Not that I want them down. It's good to have them there, so they can be monitored. Driving our enemies underground would just make it harder to monitor them.

Odd, that's pretty much what the Muslim extremists are saying, except they want to kill the "unbelievers".

I'm unable to find an example in history where committing genocide has helped anyone actually solve problems. It seems what goes around, comes around.

Perhaps a more reasoned solution is in order, like just going after anyone who would commit murder to further their ends. Note that killing terrorists is not murder, but killing noncombatants is.

Not that I approve, but genocide of the Woodlands Indians solved a lot of problems for the early US government. It opened up Ohio for settlement and helped the state govt's concerning land warrants issued for service in the Revolutionary War.

A good point, and, as is always true regarding genocide, unsettling. In cases where a population can be completely annihilated, perhaps genocide can be committed with impunity. That may be how it was with the Woodlands Indians, as well as many other peoples wiped out by colonization and countless wars throughout history and around the world, but there still seems to be a lingering cost for those who would commit this crime and for their decendants. Intangible, maybe, but a diminishment nonetheless. Anyone who commits a crime like this deteriorates morally, with the consequences that brings.

In the case of a proposed extermination the Muslim world, I still find it unlikely that a program of genocide is either practical to execute or capable of making the world safer.

You're right I must admit, maybe we should strive to show how nonsensical their religion can be, then send it to trash heap of history with other discarded value systems. I don't paraphrase very well.....

What I would like to know is, did we get payback? I read a book written by Gayl Rivers, a counter-terrorist who alleges we sent in Spec Ops to do a little dirty work in Beirut. However, I don't know how reliable the book is.
