Well, I forgot to add some things- the wife was up demanding breakfast, the dog throwing up in the kitchen
( Coincidence? Or Was Hillary Responsible? You Decide! )
and the usual morning zoo around here.... let's see what I can find.....
Hillary! and Arafat's wife-

The "respect" her friends show America:

Markie Post and Linda Bloodhworth- jumping on the bed in the Lincoln Bedroom......
And what has to be the all-time most smarmy, insulting song in History:
A Song for Hillary
The whole world will be dancing in the street
when Hillary Rodham Clinton takes her Senate seat.
No carpetbagger is she;
she's a human Statue of Liberty.
Hillary, Hillary, Hillary!
We're so glad for the joy that she will bring.
We can always count on her to do the right thing.
She's faithful and honest, too.
Thank God she's happened to me and you.
Hillary, Hillary, Hillary!
No matter what the voices of deception say,
Vote Hillary Clinton on Election Day.
No matter the problems, big or small;
she will tackle and solve them all.
The whole world will be dancing in the street
when Hillary Rodham Clinton takes her Senate seat.
No carpetbagger is she;
she's a human Statue of Liberty.
Hillary, Hillary, Hillary!

The song about Hillary might be just the ticket to keep her OUT of the White House in 2004! Sometimes people understand humor more than the truth! And in humor....there is MUCH truth!

You have a way with words! Love it!
To: LiberteeBell
I think Rush was the first commentator to point out that "these people are never going to go away" back in the mid-1990's. It's a depressing thought!

Yup, think you are right, it was Rush.
To: bentfeather
I'm fairly certain Rush was the first... I used to listen to a lot of talk radio in pre-web days, and while it's maddenly slow, and quirky, it does get to the truth of things.
Some of the things I recall?
Caller: "It's just like it was when clinton was here in Arkansas- every time he gets in trouble, he either goes to a church with the biggest bible he can find, or leaves town for a while....:
Caller: "Waco was about instilling fear, so there'd be no outrage...."
Caller: "It used to be that 1/3rd of Americans were devils, 1/3rd were Angels, and 1/3rd were just trying to get by.... now that last critical third has become 'seeing how much they can get by with'...."

To: backhoe
Caller #1 was certainly correct, that used to really get my gaul when he would pose for the cameras as he left church. So phony. Thanks to Rush, I have been able to keep a somewhat steady course.
To: bentfeather
I think talk radio was a phenomena that "stealthed in" under the opposition's radar- it became popular before they were aware of it and able to mount a campaign against it. We have back to back conservative shows here, with Neil Boortz as a nice Libertarian complement to it.
I do know that a lot of people listen to these shows. It has to help!

In fact, I can just about visualize a few years from now, clicking the remote control on my TV and landing on "Hollywood Squares" just long enough to hear some contestant call out: "I'll take ex-President Clinton to block!"

Thanks for the link... I'd swear I have it in one of my many collections of anti-clinton files!

I do.I also forward things like this,to friends who don't post on F.R. but read it regularly.
It IS important to keep things like this in the Forefront, especially on days like today where she...
"chided President Bush for allowing Secretary of State Colin Powell to meet with Mrs. Arafat's husband, in a letter she co-signed with several other U.S. senators..."
There is going to come the day, sooner than we realize, when she'll run or be "anointed for higher office" and links such as these will be handy for printing etc.

Everytime I think about the disrespect shown to the Lincoln Bedroom and the White House by this group of druggies I just get so angry.
The Clintons were the worse curse upon the US that we have ever had. A pox be on their house.
To: Pagey
I do.I also forward things like this,to friends I greatly appreciate that- while I do enjoy having Free Republic as "a newspaper I can talk back to," there is a higher calling- trying to educate all the people who still get most of their news from "the media."
The same media that helped elect, re-elect, and keep in office the most corrupt, most fraudulent, most outright criminal Administration in history....
The same media that regards the Palestinians as "oppressed" and the Israelis as "the bad guys...."
The same media that won't even talk about baby rapes in Africa or give honest coverage to the chaos descending on Rhodesia....

I don't think there has ever been a worse man ( and his supporters! ) to hold high office. JFK at least kept his wenching mostly private, FDR did provide leadership when it was direly needed, and even LBJ had the little grace to not run again when the war he expanded started ripping the country apart.
The clintons, however, don't even have the decency to stay out of our faces, even now....

I've been listening to Neil Boortz for 30 years. He sounds the same today as he did back then. Has anyone been doing a political talk show longer than Neil?
To: Atlantian
I was not aware Boortz had been on the air that long. I am old enough to vaguely recall Fulton Lewis, Jr.

Neil mentioned last week that he's been a talk show host in Atlanta for 32 years. I've never hears of Fulton Lewis.
To: Atlantian
If, at a used book sale, you ever see a copy of "Praised and Damned- the story of Fulton Lewis, Jr." pick it up. The tales of 1940's and 1950's "corruption & communsists" look strangely like the recent 1990's.
