Prayer request (vanity)

[Revelation 911]

Just a simple prayer request for three people actually. My Godmother (my mothers cousin)- (yes, this Protestant had a Godmother - I'm Italian / ex-Cath) passed away yesterday - she was young, and her children are now in thier early thirties. Very suddenly, very painlessly, due to a vasular mass in her brain we have known about for 40 years. Each day was borrowed. Each day appreciated. Her immediate family was at her side when she passed and she opened her eyes as she went (even though she was brain dead). Presumably as she saw the face of God.

I request from my brothers and sisters something special. We know God transcends time. He is the Alpha and the Omega. Do me a favor then and pray for her physical comfort while she was in the hospital. Pray she is comforted in her journey to the other side. God knows our prayers before we utter them.

Additionally, please pray for her children. They are both married now, but also lost thier father to cancer suddenly two years ago. They are wonderful and honorable children, and obviously cared for and loved her deeply, as do I.

We had a fellow in Church this past Sunday recount (spontaneously) two near death experiences. They revived him, he woke up and said "I dont want to come back - I want to stay where its peaceful" only to fade out again. - Only to be pulled back by the EMT again.

Dear Father,
I pray that you bring comfort and peace to Revelation 911 and his family. Please give him Your assurance that You were taking care of his dear Aunt Ro while she was in the hospital, and that you will continue to watch over her children and family.

Please help us understand that death on earth is not the end, but the beginning of a wonderful forever in Your presence.

Please turn their tears of sadness into tears of joy and celebration of her life here on earth and in Heaven. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.

Some years ago, I had a near-death experience too. I did not want to come back either. Your Godmother is in a far, far better place...and I will pray for your family.
