You like Newt Gingrich--the Speaker of the House who had no qualms about giving away America's sovereignty to an entity in which we have 1 vote, in which unelected representatives can decide the fate of our laws?

You like Newt Gingrich--the hypocrit who was trying to promote 'family values' while running around with his pants down?

"I'm not going to take the lazy way out and blame NJ's RINOs for Bret's loss in November."

True, Christie Whitman now qualifies as a Washington RINO.

I must have really struck a nerve for you to show up with the talking points. The GOP is all pleased with itself for throwing a "Dick Cheney fundraiser" for Schundler and putting him in the black 3 months before election day. Even the mafia takes care of a good soldier's bills before they kiss him on the cheek and turn him into a turnpike bridge abutment.

As for attending a Cheney fundraiser, very impressive. My dog got invited to one last year. Apparently they use mailing lists generated through Washington Times subscription lists.

I think there's a certain poetic justice that her days are now consumed with shoving junk science down the throat of NY State, don't you? :-)

I must have really struck a nerve for you to show up with the talking points.

Nope, just tired of seeing you repetitively blame the RINOs, and the RINOs alone, for Bret's loss on this and other relevant threads.

From where I sat, Bret's camp made a few big mistakes - and way too much time was wasted worrying about when and if Donnie and the Witless One would ever back him.

The GOP is all pleased with itself for throwing a "Dick Cheney fundraiser" for Schundler and putting him in the black 3 months before election day. Even the mafia takes care of a good soldier's bills before they kiss him on the cheek and turn him into a turnpike bridge abutment.

You're insulting allusion that I must be a member of the NJ RINO/Soprano family notwithstanding, party unity (or at least the appearance thereof to McSleazy's camp) was a very good thing to telegraph to the electorate. Especially after such a contentious primary.

Our impression of the event is irrelevant - we had both decided to vote for Bret long before that day. However, little things like the Vice President attending a fundraiser for the GOP candidate for governor does happen to catch the eye of all of those pesky unaffiliated voters.

As to being "in the black 3 months before the election", that is precisely what we footsoldiers were told by Bret's campaign staff. It wasn't until the end of August when I bumped into one of Bret's co-chairs and was informed of the funding problem.

Perhaps, if the campaign bothered to keep the grassroots folks informed during July and August, we could have spent that time holding a few fundraisers of our own. Too bad someone decided that it was a better idea to treat us like a bunch of mushrooms.

As for attending a Cheney fundraiser, very impressive. My dog got invited to one last year. Apparently they use mailing lists generated through Washington Times subscription lists.

Gee, Harrison. All that juvenile statement proves is that you once donated to the RNC, using your dog's name as an alias. Care to discuss, in an adult manner, some of the issues I've raised? Or is your whole raison d'etre about hurling insults at those you perceive to not hold your views?

I agree we should have gotten way more WTO votes. I could care less about Newt's personal life he was not a bipartianship guy that was my point. I wanted Clinton gone because he was a stupid liberal traitor not because he got a hummer.

Seems like that little thing about 'high ground' was amiss with Newt! He also screwed the freshmen who were willing to take the heat to get a lot of crap done.....when it came to government shutdown, he caved,....and gave it all to the employees anyway....the GOP is a loser.....

You can bet your behind that those firefighterw (*the majority of them) KNOW what a baby in the 7th or 8th month of pregnancy looks like,..that they can be sustained outside the womb. That there isn't a single MEDICAL REASON for aborting a kicking crying baby. A baby that can and does pucker its bottom lip. Except the Mommy changed her mind!!!!!!!!!!!!! No medical reason at all!!! Trust me.. better yet.. show me one!!!

You see that would defy logic. If you can deliver the baby via the birth canal,.. you have delivered the baby!!!! PERIOD!!! The only thing that stops it from being murder.. is two inches. Thats how far they leave the head in the birth canal before sucking out the brains.

Which brings me to another point... it is harder to deliver breach!!!! So you can't say it is for the safety of the mother. This horse won't ride.....

So that is a ludicrous arguement. They/Fireman would be trying to SAVE lives.. not KILL THEM!!!
