Suspects' Families Protest in Bosnia

By AIDA CERKEZ-ROBINSON, Associated Press Writer

SARAJEVO, Bosnia-Herzegovina (AP) - About 100 supporters of six Algerian terrorism suspects in U.S. custody protested in Bosnia on Friday, kneeling in the snow to pray for the men and demanding to know where they had been taken.

Chanting ``God is great,'' the wives, children and friends of the Arab suspects gathered in front of the government building in the capital, Sarajevo, laid their coats on the snow and prayed for the return of the suspects.

``We are demanding rights for our husbands,'' said Anela Belkacem, the wife of one of the suspects, Bensayah Belkacem. ``There is no proof against them and we don't even know for sure where they are.''

Bosnian authorities handed the group over to U.S. authorities Jan. 18, ignoring a ruling by the country's highest court that they be released.

U.S. officials have declined to say formally where the men were taken. U.S. defense officials in Afghanistan said on Monday that the six were aboard a plane that left Kandahar airport for the 8,000-mile flight to Guantanamo Bay.

Human rights groups have condemned the handover, arguing that proper judicial procedures were not followed.

Police arrested the men three months ago after U.S. intelligence indicated they were planning to attack the U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo and the U.S. military base in the northeastern city of Tuzla.

One suspect, Bensayah Belkacem, is accused of making several phone calls to one of Osama bin Laden's aides - Abu Zubaydah, the operations chief of al-Qaida in Afghanistan. U.S. intelligence monitored one of the phone calls and alerted the Bosnian police.

Police later said it found numerous blank passports of Western European countries in Belkacem's house.

Well... At least some within the Bosnian government now how to show a little more gratitude. They told the court to go pound sand and handed the terrorists over in spite of an order not to.

Give it a little time. But here's a hint: the country code for Guantanemo Bay, Cuba, is 5399.

Actually the Arabic translates into "Allah (proper name for their god) is greatest."

That is why the English translation of the Koran's "There is no god but God" makes no sense. It should say "There is no god but Allah". Allah was the Moon god, of the Arab pagans, their Zeus if you will.

The Bosnian govt. was strong armed into handing the terrorists over. Do not delude yourself. They are the same ones that allowed al-Qaeda to use Bosnia as a sanctuary and base.

Wake up pal, your history is a little confused. The muslim, clintonista and NATO heathen wanted to "cleanse" Christian Serbs from their historic, traditional homeland...Bosnia/Herzgovenia...in order to enable islamic expansion into Eastern Europe. Same thing they did in Kosovo and are now attempting in Macedonia. If they are successful in the Balkans, their next stop will likely be at your front door poking an AK in your face and ordering you out of your house. Keep your powder dry pal.

So what's the problem here? A few poor Bosnians are disappeared in the name of the common good -- it happens all the time. Chile, Central America, Macedonia... has been going on for years...

I mean, better to be these "terrorist suspects" than a former Enron exec. These guys will probably surface after several months of sleep deprivation and drug induced interrogations -- at least they won't be murdered in their Mercedes...

This term "terrorist" just doesn't mean much when everybody is a terrorist...

********

Honorary Serb

Look, everybody respects your views about the Balkans. Most reasonable people understand that the Serbs, who sacrificed their future in 1389 at Kosovo polje to save Christian Europe, were betrayed in Judas-like fashion by the West in 1999.

Of course this betrayal was required for the glory of the Kosovo Liberation Army and Greater Albania. And when today's voices of protest fall silent, future generations will be taught the rightness of Albanianism. So keep on preaching what you know best...

But please...

Please...

Don't try and fool intelligent people with the discredited story of the so-called Armenian genocide. It never happened and everybody knows it...

During the Great War Armenia gambled on some bad Western advice and attacked Turkey with thousands of lawless brigands. The Turk, unshackled by modern political correctness, put down this revolt and liquidated tens of thousands of Armenian terrorists in the process...

The so-called "Armenian genocide" merely the revisionist ramblings of some Bulgarian intellectuals hired to foment trouble by Russian Bolshevik thugs...

When the US Congress almost foolishly passed a condemnation of this historical fallacy, President Clinton got on the phone and told them to knock it off. Ankara does not like these kind of lies...

You do yourself a diservice by attacking an American ally in a time of war with these lies. You're better than that...

********

MojoWork n

A couple things...

First, Albanian freedom fighters and Chechen nationalists always supported here. However despite the hate filled brushstrokes of Slavic whiners like Stavka2, you will be hard pressed to find anywhere that I support al Qaeda...

Why does someone from North Carolina support Albanian and Chechen nationalists? I don't know but from Mr D's writings we can get a glimpse of why he feels this way...

The AB was originally published in Charlotte. When asked why a North Carolinian from Charlotte would support an independent Kosovo -- during a visit to Tirana in the mid-90's -- Mr D confused his assembled audience by proclaiming their thesis was incorrect...

Because to a true North Carolinian Charlotte is not part of the state (Which is why Ms Dole will succeed Senator Helms -- those Democrats never seem to learn... Harvey Gant, Bowles etc...)

Anyway with that confusion obfuscated, Mr D explained that as the War of Northern Aggression was winding down -- North Carolina was spared the fate of South Carolina, Georgia, and Virginia. To wit the Tarheel state was not burned down, fields salted, and women raped by jack-booted federal thugs fighting an illegal war and committing genocide...

The reason, he explained, was because General Johnson had 20,000 well armed veteran fighters outside of Durham that would rather die than see their homelands destroyed. Since these Tarheel fighters were each worth two or three Yankee troops and well supplied, the state made a deal with the Union...

Of course the treacherous thugs in Washington, DC soon reneged and a few days later John Wilkes Booth -- at the behest of a secret North Carolina Society that still exists today -- executed Lincoln as a war criminal...

The point being as he explained to the young KLA organisers (and has subsequently to other like minded freedom fighters) is that when the jack-booted federal thugs come to rape your women and destroy your homes -- it is too late to arm and prepare. And they will come...

Thus in Kosovo, the Tetovo Republic, and Chechnya -- landed free men in the finest Western tradition arm themselves to repel illegal invasions by corrupt federal governments that seek to enslave the innocent...

And of course when the corrupt leadership reneges (as is now happening by the Russians in Chechnya) a modern day Booth takes down the head of state.

Then again his interest might have something to do with his time spent on the fourth floor of the Dirksen Building. Ask him if you really want to know, but still plenty of Albanians who have heard that talk over the years now fighting against illegal Slavic hegemonism...

Now as far as your query about how long since a BLT -- I think that must be a trick question. Any damn fool knows it is impossible to get a decent tomato in January. But when you do -- no salt and just a pinch of pepper on that BLT will make it right...

Keep on rockin' in the free world...

The forces of freedom on the move. Europe trembles.

Two best bumper stickers today:

JESUS LOVES YOU (Everyone else thinks you are a jerk)

HONK IF YOU THINK I'M JESUS

Somehow I think this would get you a fatwah if you tried it with Allah. And it wouln't even be half as funny.

Allah is the word for God in Arabic, and is used by Jewish, Christian, and Muslim Arabs.

You really should abstain from satisfying your irresistable urge to spread disinformation and support ignorance in others. Why is it you do that? It will backfire, in that the very people whom you attempt to mislead will despise you for it later.

Tisk, tisk, tisk.

Allah is Arabic for God, and refers to the God of Abraham, Moses, and so on.

I'm sure I could find web sites that disseminate anti-Christian propaganda, just like you are posting links to those posting anti-Muslim propaganda. (Granted that even without yours and Usame's help, the backward segment of Muslims has done a fine job at that already..)

People like us, you and me, have the capacity to rise above that. Please stop feeding our innocent freepers this rubbish. It does nobody any good.

I am more than willing to accept that the God of Abraham has Sumerian links. I support Christianity because it mixed in all tha was best of the Jewish tradition with all that was best of Greek philosophical thought. Islam originated from a common source but was not directly influenced by the school of Athens like Christianity was.
