**Prayers Needed** Little Rock Police Officer Shot in scuffle, in surgery now

Jack Cooper, a Little Rock patrol officer was with his parner in the Waterford Apartments on Green Mountain Drive in Little Rock today, when they received a call on a disturbed man locking himself in the apartment office bathroom. The man was shouting "MY wife and kids are being attacked by vampires" and barracaded himself in the bathroom.

Both officers arrived and talked the man out of the bathroom and was seemingly calm when he started fighting with Officer Jack Cooper and was able to wrestle his firearm away from him, shooting Jack Cooper behind the ear. His partner returned fire, killing the suspect.

Jack Cooper is in surgery now, and I would appreciate any prayers for this friend of mine. We don't know his condition yet. Pray for his recovery.
