Romans 5
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:Heavenly Father, we come to You praising Your Name. Healer, Physician, Intercessor, Saviour, so many others. Father, forgive me of my sins. Let me be a witness for You so that others see You through me. Guide our nation, our friends, and loved ones in Your Will. You know our cries even before we ask. Just lead us and protect us as You see fit. In Christ's Holy Name. Amen

Amen!
"And patience, experience; and experience, hope:"
I pray that our Father above will hear our prayers, and bless this country, heal our wounds, restore our faith, and give us peace. May every heart be filled with gladness, every sickness cured, and every home filled with love. Amen.

Thanks, brother! Today Pres. Bush meets Ariel Sharon. This could be a prophetic meeting, as I believe the US is protected and blessed by God during the endtimes for protecting Israel against the world. It really seems His return is very close.

I too believe that America is protected and blessed by God - more so when we keep our face and hearts towards him. I don't hold the opinion that recent events are a punishment for our national sins - disaster, death and destruction happen every day, just in this case it hurt many more. I tend to look for the silver lining in everything. Whatever the reason, God reminded us that He is with us, as He promised us. I can look around, and see a great renewal of faith everywhere, and can see families that are spending more time together, and rediscoving traditional American values.
Yes, thanks to God, we have hope. May God bless America, and our allies. And yes, even our enemies - may they see the face of God, and be given wisdom, to know and understand the truth.

If anyone has a moment right now to offer up a prayer for Matthew - the teen who ran away and then miraculously - after much prayer - returned - I would appreciate it - and his mom would appreciate it. He is right now going before a military officer to discuss his entry into the Army. This is the ONE THING that Matthew has shown great interest in and has worked hard to be able to join - but with his past troubles - this process has been very long and trying. His mother and I would ask any who could to join us RIGHT NOW to pray for Matthew - that this door be opened, if it is the right and best thing for him - and for our military. She believes he would do well and that this is the one thing that might help turn him around - but we trust in God alone to see him through this right now....asking that the door be opened if it is right and good. Thank you in advance to any who can pray!

Standing with you in prayer ... Lord, we ask that You place this young man where his abilities and desires will be brought forth in ways that are pleasing to You ... grant him service to his country, if this be Your will ...in the name of Jesus, Amen ...

You guys are so good! AND FAST!!! Thank you so much! And, guess what!!!!! God is good, also! Matthew's mom called again - this time elated! Matthew passed this important test, this interview, with FLYING colors!!!! And the officer talked with her afterwards, saying he was respectful, intelligent, and very very determined to be in the Army. He also talked to her and said that the fact of her "holding on" to Matthew - even after he did what he did - and her tenacity in praying for and with Matthew and not giving up on him - means a great deal and has made a great difference!
Anyway - there is one more step which happens next MOnday or Tuesday - so please keep those prayers going! And, thank you very very much!
And, LeeMcCoy - God will bring your Betsey back to you!!!!

YOu're welcome - it made me smile too - actually shout for joy! This has been a very long road for Matthew and the FReeper prayer family has been deeply involved. Prayer does indeed "work" because God is real and honors our prayers. Sometimes the answers are hard to understand - especially when it involves a sick loved one who does not get well....but even in those times.....God is at work....I know - been through that with several loved ones. In the cases where they were not "healed" in this life - amazing healings and provisions were given - with sure knowledge that this one for whom so many prayed was totally in God's care.

Hi, Pegita! Thank you for your prayers for Matthew - and other prayers that have meant so much to me! :-) Those have been answered as well though we won't know the final turn of those events for a few more weeks....:-)
But isn't this wonderful for Matthew! And for his mother who has labored so long and hard for him in prayer and in "keeping after him"! Thanks again for all!
