Just received an update from Freeper with ductal carcinoma. The tumor also contains a very rare cancer called myoepithelial carcinoma that they don't know exactly how to treat it. The doctors recommended surgery and drugs which will happen next week. Please pray for the doctors doing the surgery and the Freeper going through this

I just wanted to give everyone an update on my mom. All of her bloodwork came back "better than perfect". Her BP is still elevated, but not nearly as bad as before. I can tell she is still worried and feels that something is not quite right; but she's supposed to wait 10 days and see how she is feeling, then the doctor will decide what to do after that. He thought that she could be one of the small % of people that do everything right and still have an elevated BP.

Thanks to everyone for your prayers up to now, and for continued prayers for my mom.

post #3 I just want to thank you and everyone that's praying for me. The prayers mean so much to me, I know how powerful pray can be. I have my moments, but, overall, I'm at peace with this. I know I have a loving Father who is going to be with me through all of this. And great friends and family and people I don't even know that will be praying for me. My G-d is bigger then this cancer and will sustain me through whatever path I have to go down.

Thank you!!! The prayers are welcomed and much appreciated. I'm having surgery wen. I'll know 4 or 5 days after that if my lymph nodes and the rest of the tissue are clear of cancer.

I saw my Grandfather today (after a baby shower!?) he is on his last breathe. Only a few days they expect him to live. He is 91. My Grandmother (93) is in an assisted living facility with alzheimers. My Grandfather's breathing is labored and I broke down many times seeing him. He is not on oxygen or anything as requested in his will. Hopefully he is in no pain as he is being interveinously injected with morphine. He has many, many family members visiting him and he will not take his last breathe alone. It will be a blessing when he reaches the heavens above. I never had to deal with death before (I'm 31) and is hard for me and others in my family. Just so, so , so sad. He has had agood life and I love him and my Grandmother both. God bless two people from The Best Gereration of Americans. Peace and Prayers FReepers :)

You got it MotleyGirl. My Grammy died of Alzheimers, although she went peacefully in her sleep. Prayers for peace for your grandfather. It's obvious how much you love them. Prayers for you too.
