An axis of evil that sold out the United States and its people.
To: anniegetyourgun
Hmmm. I guess Jimmy thinks the Bible's contrast of good and evil is "overly simplistic and counterproductive". Let's review...
1. Kim Jung Il starves to death his own people by the hundreds of thousands, in order to escalate his military expenditures.
2. Saddam used deadly nerve gas on his own people.
3. Iran spends billions financing, training and arming people to kill women and children.
This is evil, Peanuthead. What could be simpler than that? The only "progress" to be made with such men is to defeat or kill them. Period.

Who, said what?
Still bitter about stagflation, Jimmuh?

"overly simplistic and counterproductive."That discribes Carters housing program. Build one house at a time while the US gains 3 million people a year...

"...overly simplistic and counterproductive."
Nice choice of words, Jimmy. Way too much complexity out there, and maybe far too much production of the wrong kind of thing. Some production must be curbed, especially when there is diminishing payoff. I LIKE short answers, works just fine on bumper stickers and T-shirts. sometimes when the thinking is pared back to its essentials, and maybe there isn't very much content, the answer should be short and simple.

Jimmy Carter..... saying the statement was "overly simplistic and counterproductive." This from the nut who's "Axis Of Evil" included a frightened rabbit swimming near his row boat.

Carter also said the growing gap between the rich and the poor continues to be the world's greatest challenge....
And Carter says Bush is simplistic.

This grotesque incompetent never misses an opportunity to criticize his own country and its leaders as long as its not him. I remember you, Mr. Carter: 1) a non-existent "energy crisis" and four hours in line to get a tank of gas; 2) double-digit inflation; 3) 20 percent interest rates; 4) the desert rescue fiasco in Iran; 5) the Russian invasion of Afghanistan; 6) amnesty for draft dodgers; 7) the Mariel boatlift of 100,000 criminals and mental patients Castro sent to Florida, unopposed; 8) the "malaise" you blamed on us! I could go on and on, Jimmy Carter is a prime example of the maxim: "Those who can't, teach".

Well Jimmy, not everyone can have Amy or Chelsea advising them.

hey Carter...two words....Burt Lance......remember that glorious 21% interest ?

Jimmy Carter should stick to growing peanuts and building homes for "Habitat For Humanity." He was absolutely our worst President until Bill Clinton. It was none other than President Carter who botched Desert One. Funny how he ignored the Iranian terrorists' storming of our U.S Embassy and the hostages they held since in Teheran happened on HIS watch. The man has absolutely no grasp of the realities of the world. No wonder the American people were happy to get rid of him in 1980.

Why is every comment that comes out of a lefties cakehole is "simplistic" or "unilateralist".Just like gravitas, these aholes all repeat the same tired mantra. Give it a rest Jimbo. Me thinks you are trying to cover up the fact that you were the biggest f-up to ever sit in the White House. You will never win your coveted Nobel peace prize because not even the Eurolefties can look at you with a straight face. BOOB.

Many people hyperventilated when Reagan called the Soviets the Evil Empire, but he was right! He gave hope to many under that regime and the world respected him. All these pious, mealy-mouthed liberals think you have to "understand", blame poverty, etc.
Carter never met a dictator (or a dictator's wife) he couldn't like and compliment. The man is truly stuck on "see no evil". He was never strong enough to swim with the sharks, and he commanded zero respect.
Bush comes across strong and has gained worldwide respect.I would rather our Pres. be respected than liked, but both is better---Eat your hearts out Bill & Hill!

WHAT progress? Clinton's "The Emperor has no Clothes" act with N. Kores, giving Saddam one more (1oo plus) chance, making smiley faces with the dictators and jihad inspirers in Iran. There has been more progress since Bush's statement than in the past 9 years because a grownup stood up and spoke the truth!

Hey, Jimbo, we know how great your foreign policy successes were. We remember the hostages. Sit down and shut up.

Funny, I was going to say the exact same thing when I saw that statement.
