"We would not pledge support. They (the United States) would be on their own," So what is new here? So who cares?
To: kattracks
Like we give a crap. The French socialists can go right straight to...
To: kattracks
Hopefully, the French will side with Iraq.
To: kattracks
Oh no! We can't possibly do anything more without their approval. Stop the war right now.

I'm shocked the surrender monkeys took this position....bent over, presenting their asses to the boy loving muslim "heros".
My contempt for the weak willed Europeans, deepens.

The French -- "euro-weaklings" par excellence.

The less attention we pay to France the better. They are a waste of time.

Leave the French people be. You can't expect them to change over-nightcentury. I don't even bother worrying about what they say. When I found out that it was Napolean's sissy-boy knicker's look that started the French fashion industry, I decided they were not worth my time.
To: kattracks
Oh, to listen to such dribble from the Frogs...Disgusting parasites that they are. Why we leave the remains of thousands of honorable servicemen interred in French soil is beyond me.
To: kattracks
Yes, they gave the world the guillotine, and Napolian, and the Vichy government, and the Maginot line, but OTOH, I loved fois gras and mushrooms with noodles by a fireplace in a great Bourdeaux restaurant, and poached calf brains in a bistro in Paris.
What can I say? I'm a sucker for their food and their art and their language. So, we suffer the fools for the few things they got right.

How many times in the last 50 years has France been 100% in support of America's military actions? Seriously. I think we should not care in the least what France thinks about anything. They have proven themselves to be a major nuisance.
To: kattracks
Like we NEED their help!!!
To: kattracks
France won't back U.S. attack on Iraq I have two simultaneous reactions to this:
1. And this is news because....?
2. And we should care because...?

The U.S. ambassador to France says America will not support any French military action against Germany without clear evidence that a military response is warranted. "We would not pledge support. They (France) would be on their own," Ambassador Ohgo Stuffit said at a Tuesday evening forum.

The next time Germany invades your sorry country you can have Iraq rescue you. French dogs.
To: kattracks
So the sniveling cowardly french aren't going to back U.S. up on Iraq? Is there really any reason to post this type of stuff? This is not news.

Kind of a shame. The holders of the last testosterone supply in France, La Legion, might have wanted to come to the party. They're always welcome in my book, even if "they're only as good as their weakest German", according to the old saying.

The cowardly French would not fight when their own country was invaded by the Germans, somehow this posture does not surprise anyone.

"There may never be conditions for [Europe to support] attacking Iraq." After this war, there may never be conditions for the US to defend France.

The French ambassador to the United States says Europe will not support any U.S. military action against Iraq without clear evidence that a military response is warranted. Let's just send a Cessna with a Molotov cocktail flying over their crappy little country france.
They'd surrender in about 5 seconds and we could finally have a place to drop liberals off by the supertanker load.
