his PR machine bills him as "the next Padre Pio" If he really wants to be like Padre Pio, he'll STFU and retire to a monastery.

It is touching of you to confess your pride problem. I will pray that you can come to know the joy of having a by-grace-alone salvation worth openly rejoicing and praising
God for (Psalm 9:14; 16:11; 40:9, 10, 16).

Lumping all "signs and wonders" together with "chicken livers" is a cute rhetorical tactic but unbiblical.

You'd be funny, if you weren't so pathetic. I'll pray for you.

Argue with the writers of 1 Corinthians 13:8-10 and Hebrews 2:1-4, not with me. Keep the chicken bones and floating tables, I'll take the Word of God.

Oh, did I think you were being sincere, when you were just being guilty and defensive? I'm sorry; I guess that is kind of pathetic. Fooled me once, shame on me.

Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.

Typing references is not exegesis.
I'm telling you there is no New Testament authority for labeling all "signs and wonders" bogus, as you apparently just did.
Your post was, at best, imprecise, and possibly just ignorant. Of the Word of God.

Medjugorje Magazine has been running a lot of articles on him lately. I'm also skeptical, as something seems to be not quite right about him.

The verbal judo is a cute rhetorical trick, and effective on those who don't recognise it. It's wasted on me. It's also usually a sign of someone trying to defend an indefensible position. I'm not sure what your original post (#14) looks like
to you, but to me, and to others it looks like the Pharisee's "prayer" in Luke 18:11. It does nothing good for your credibility or the credibility of the Gospel you're trying to preach. Your inability (or refusal) to look in the mirror does even worse for your credibility.

Mt 12:38 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. Mt 12:39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: Mt 16:1

IMO, something's not entirely right about the Medjugorje business. There just seems to be too much publicity seeking going on there.

This priest needs a good banjo picker. A good banjo picker always whips the crowd up before you bring out the snake oil.
And another thought. There's an old wrestler's trick, where, before they go into the ring they'll take a razor blade and make a short, shallow cut on an arm, or maybe the forehead, and quickly brush on fast drying collodian which seals the cut, so it doesn't bleed right away. Later, in the ring, a little stress on the skin will open up the cut and the blood will flow. Carney trick.

Later, in the ring, a little stress on the skin will open up the cut and the blood will flow. Carney trick. I can't believe the Xlinton's haven't tried that one yet.

Boy, he needs a shower.

So far, I have literally cited
infinitely more Biblical evidence than you for the
well-established position that there are no more any signs and wonders today than there is another Atonement slated. God's plan of the ages moves on; it's a plan, not a daily repeat.
(You know, guys like you kill me, BTW. Your tone is SO lofty... so much so that actual discussion of evidence is beneath you! Ay, yi yi.)

Okay if I just go ahead and stick with having answered you once? Good. Thanks!

Thank you! Amen! It's always the "not-satisfied-with-what-God-
has-done" crowd who cries fore "More!", isn't it?
