Shawn Steel, Chairman
What Hillary Should Know About Gray and Women
New York Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton treks west today to raise money for Gray Davis and Cruz Bustamante.
Hillary will also reportedly appear with Gray to announce a women's coalition supporting the guv.
Before gushing about Gray, Hillary may want to consult with some California women who have not had pleasant experiences with Gray . . . including her Senate colleague Dianne Feinstein.
After Davis ran an ad during his 1992 senate race against Feinstein comparing Feinstein to convicted tax scofflaw Leona Helmsley, female leaders had quite a bit to say about Gray.
"A desperate and despicable man...I'm embarrassed to call him a Democrat."
Assemblywoman Jackie Speier,
Sacramento Bee, May 29, 1992
"There are, unfortunately, people out there who are uncomfortable with women in any position of power. This plays on those fears. I think this is very sexist. I'm very disappointed Gray Davis would sink to this very questionable tactic."
Linda Joplin, California state coordinator
National Organization of Women
Sacramento Bee, May 29, 1992
"It is an unwarranted, unsubstantiated personal attack that is beyond the bounds of normal politics."
Ellen Malcolm, President of Emily's List
Sacramento Bee May 29, 1992
Gray Davis should be ashamed of himself... it (the ad) raises questions about his fitness to hold any public office.
Sacramento Bee Editorial, May 30, 1992
Hillary may also want to consult with State Controller Kathleen Connell, who has been the target of a sexist attack by Gray's spokesman after she dared to question expenses for take-out Sushi by Gray's energy consultants.
"Unless (Connell) wants to go home and bake a few pans of lasagna for the guys on the front lines who are trying to keep the lights on, she should stick to the job of writing checks," says spokesman Steve Maviglio.
San Francisco Chronicle, July 25, 2001
And here is what Davis political boss Garry South has to say about Ms. Connell.
"(Connell) is a viper. She's one of the most vile people I've ever known in politics."
Garry South
San Diego Union-Tribune, July 15, 2001
And last but not least, is this excerpt from New Times Los Angeles.
Long protected by the news media, the baby-faced Davis has been allowed to move higher and higher in public office despite his history of physical violence, unhinged hysteria, and gross profanity.
Perhaps the worst incident was Davis' attack four years ago on a woman we'll call K, his loyal executive secretary in Los Angeles who acted as chief apologist for his violent "incidents."
On that day in question, state controller Davis was in a purple rage because an employee had re-arranged framed bond sale notices on his office walls. When K. entered his office, he shouted "F***ing pictures!" and violently shoved her out of his way, according to employees who were present. K. ran out, broke down in sobs, and was briefly hospitalized at Cedars Sinai for a severe, stress related dermatological reaction.
New Times Los Angeles, November 27, 1997

No problem for the thieving grifting Senator Doormat. She's married to a credibly accused rapist and admitted philanderer...

Posting anti-Davis quotes from all these women is a pretty pointless exercise. Now that Davis is running against a conservative Republican, I'm sure all of them are willing to bathe in Davis' sh!t if it helps get him elected.

Sen "Cellulite Legs" can relate to Grayout perfectly. They can visit with each other in hell.

Davis has got to be the worst Governor in American history.
If California re-elects this nincompoop there should be a special session held in Congress about letting CA become it's own nation.

As we will all recall Hillary is in town to promote Davis the unbalanced one. Davis the unbalanced one! I love it! He is such a megalomaniac. He has got to go.
Good-bye Davis, come on Simon!

Posting anti-Davis quotes from all these women is a pretty pointless exercise. Now that Davis is running against a conservative Republican, I'm sure all of them are willing to bathe in Davis' sh!t if it helps get him elected. There's no doubt that all these hypocritical women will be rallying around Davis come November. HOWEVER, will they be working their fundraising lists, sending their staff to help him, talk him up in public to their friends? More like, "Well, I really hate him, but he's the only choice we have." Not a resounding endorsement!
Simon WON the Republican women vote by a huge margin. This shows that women like Simon, and I think that will help across the board.
Women don't like Davis. He's a pandering, selfish, self-serving, baby-killing, hypocritical, temper-tantrum-throwing, power-hungry megalomaniac that isn't fit for public office.

Wait a minute, I thought Cursty Pant Suit Klinton was the smartest woman in the world so that must mean she already know everthing.
If I was sure she needed to know something Grayout Davis, I'm sure that I would be the last one to tell her.
She is a total waste of space.

To: eureka!
No doubt the grifter will be stumping for Rendell too. He has a well known zipper problem!!! She loves those kind of men!
To: Libloather
Well, of course he is. But he IS "their" failure, don't forget. They can forgive all kinds of stuff in a Democrat because "his heart is in the right place." Meanwhile, they are crucifying a GOP judge nominee because, even thought he supports women's rights, he BELONGED to a club that didn't let women join.

The only thing Hillary needs to know is that he is a democrat and it's a good excuse to campaign in a democrat state she may need later.

Women for Davis? More like "Women Beware!" Some women like abuse, and come back time and time again. Think about the number of battered women that go back to their abusive partners. One word describes these women... insane. Same thing with regards to liberals.
To: ElkGroveDan
Well, compared to what she's used to, Gray Davis is probably a welcome relief.
To: NormsRevenge
I have an idea for a Bill Simon sticker, really more of a anti-Gray Davis sticker.
On gas station pumps, there are warning labels talking about MTBE and its effects on the environment (ground water). How about a sticker saying '...and Gov Davis is postponing MTBE phaseout'. Plaster these next to the MTBE warning label, and you get the enviro-loonies getting disgusted at Davis. They might just decide to stay home during election day.
To: Frohickey
Ooooh! Good idea, I like it.

After Davis ran an ad during his 1992 senate race against Feinstein comparing Feinstein to convicted tax scofflaw Leona Helmsley, I'd like to give Gray credit where credit is due-- he ought to go back and relive the past, because there's no future for him in this election. We need to unseat "Franken"stein, next election.
To: Frohickey
The lefties will accept ANYTHING from their candidates. It's the middle that will shift on occasion. Simon needs to go on the offense...BIG TIME! Davis is vulnerable and if the temperatures heat up and the energy crisis returns.......Gray is toast.

How about a sticker saying '...and Gov Davis is postponing MTBE phaseout'. This is an excellent idea. There's a captive audience just standing there waiting for the gas to pump into their car. What do you think about '....and Gray Davis has stalled MTBE phaseout. It's time to vote for BILL SIMON."
What do you think?
We could keep a sheet of stickers in our cars and every time we stop to fill up, stick them on as many pumps as we can.
To: WillaJohns
There should be a bumper sticker with Hillary kissing Arafat on one half and Hillary kissing Davis on the other half.

Not to mention the Davis/Condit friendship. Birds of a feather flock together. Like minds attract. Water seeks it's own level.

Not fact, speculation. Facts were impossible because the body was whisked away without an autopsy. The family (probably paid off handsomely and/or threatened viciously) denied autopsy access. Don't even know if that's legal, but that's what happened. No mafia coverup was ever handled as smoothly as the Mary Jo murder.
To: ElkGroveDan
Well, they're both from New York (Gray, originally, and Hitlary via Illinois, Arkeensaw, and Washington DC).
