If you are gonna kill, kill BIG. Yeah, but then you have that whole insurance deductible to deal with, possible police reports, accident claims and reports. With my style, all I have to do is hose the car down real good. Well, except with the skunks.

How many hunters here on Free Republic do you know that have killed endangered species? How many hunters here on Free Republic do you know that go out hunting (or shooting) when drunk? How many poachers do you know here on Free Republic? I really doubt we'll get any volunteers for honest answers from the people who have. How many people here have known someone who has killed for thrill or boredom and have drank or killed an endangered species? I doubt anyone will answer that either.

Sg,most hunters ARE like GWB.
IF you hunters were all like say GWB...there would be less endangered animals, less trophies on the wall, less people against hunters and we wouldn't have these discussions.
Oh yes we would, because you and the organizations you associate with, peta,HSUS, HCI etc. will never stop! YOu and the rest of your socialist ilk have an agenda that says you know best and insist on foisting it on the rest of the world. There is not an iota of difference between you and the palestinain terrorists, you just don't have a bomb yet.
End of transmission. out.

Don't bring up animals hurting other animals unless you are gonna put man on the same level as animals. I am prone to thinking (erroneously I guess) that man should know better.

I answered all your questions on the other thread...brought some answers over here for some of the others...if you'd look. I don't know what you want me to say anymore. Say "I was mistaken and my arguments didn't make any sense."

I think the top photo of the Winchester Model 70 Classic Featherweight XTR is just about the prettiest rifle ever made. I got one like it for my son when he was 13 and 12 years later he still has it and swears he will never part with his Winchester. And by the way, there was a lot of good times hunting with him over the years too.

You call me a terrorist because I support Doris Day Animal League and the ASPCA and Humane Society. Don't forget PETA. You said you were a PETA member.

I don't hunt, never have, but your descriptions make it sound like so much fun I may have to give it a try. First it was just eating meat in your honor, now I'll have to kill in your honor. Probably just varmints. Not edible ones, just fun-to-kill ones. Just think, you've persuaded me to cross over to the dark side!
To: Tennessee_Bob
Well...I think you've proven alot of my problems with hunters and animals. No respect for them attall. Thanks for your input.

THEN...On the other thread you have a hunter-girl who is teaching her 6 and 8 yr old girls to kill squirrels in her back yard You know, I just discovered that the rabbits have eaten my just started blueberry bushes. Boy are they in for it now. Ate them right down to the ground.
Anyone have a good recipe for Hasenpfeffer?

Specifically I was thinking of that special Japanese veal where the calf is suspended in a sling and its feet never touch the ground. It is fattened and killed and extremely tender and I cannot recall the name of the dish. Sounds like Kobe beef (or maybe Wagyu beef) to me. If cooked right, it makes USDA Prime taste like shoe leather. The calves are massaged with sake and fed beer every day.
Kobe goes for 100-300 bucks a pound in Japan if its the real thing (and there are restauranteurs who have been known to substitute a more plebeian cut).

I sent money to Peta awhile ago....but don't anymore...too radical now. I wish you would at least point get that point out since I have made that clear to you over and over again...but then again it would make you look weak again wouldn't it..and we can't let that substantial part of my admission get out now can we?
Did anyone in FR ever send money to Peta in their lives? ANyone in here ever give money to the ASPCA or Humane Society?
