The "scorecard" presented by the coalition gave a number of Democratic lawmakers perfect 100 percent scores based on their votes on "pro-Hispanic" bills like repairing public schools

This is one sick joke! Check the "inner cities" - LA, Washington, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Chicago, ad nauseum. They are all run by DemocRATs - many of the black - and they have destroyed their public schools.

Are the Hispanics really that stupid?

Sorry. I try not to. It's more respectful to judge people by the content of their character rather than by some silly inherent identifier or characteristic. You and Bush should learn this term; E Pluribus Unium.

Oh, I'm familiar with that term. I live it every day. Maybe you should get to know it, and quit bashing Republicans for bringing some of the "many" into the "one" party.

You threw out the word:

bigotry

at some decent people here.

Implying that people who don't agree with YOU are the bigots.

Name one person that I called or implied is a bigot here.
You can't.

Of course the idea that I would use the term when addressing a viewpoint...and have a few posters taking such personal offense leads me to one conclusion.
If the shoe fits, wear it.

Well yes it is unfortunate to throw the race card in. As I recall you were the first one to use it. bigotry and you continue to refer to it. If that were Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson, it would be thought of as racist to refer to other anti-immigration conservatives as bigots (your words). I consider anyone who uses those words (hot button as you call them) a racist.

If the shoe fits wear it Are you implying that I'm racist? You seem to be the one to keep using racial terms. Have you posted at DUh lately? Maybe you should be with your friends. Calling people here at free republic racists is in line with people at DUh.

Anyone who uses the term "bigot" or "racist" is a racist? LOL! That's a very convenient way for racists to avoid being called racist, don't you think? Anybody who accuses someone of race-baiting is the racist, IMO. The fact that Jesse and Al use the word like it's going out of style doesn't take away from the reality that racists exist.

I love your line of thinking:

"Boy whoever disagrees with me is a B-I-G-O-T!"

"Whhhhhaaaat? Lil ole ME didn't mean to cast aspertions on you."

"Wait you're upset about being called a racist???? Oh you must be one then."

You take classes from Jesse or Sharpton in person? Or did you develop your smear skills on your own?

Dubya is a globalist. He isn't concerned about our culture, our sovereignty, our jobs, our Constitution, and our way of life.

Jorge replied early in the thread that he knew why some people were against Bush pandering to Hispanics and said it MUST be due to bigotry i.e. racism ect ect. Now ignoring the fact that he's objectively wrong, for him to come out of nowwhere and start insinuating crap like that is uncalled for.

No one said that Latinos won't adopt conservatism. In fact, the Cubans have, but they are the only "Latino/Hispanic" group who vote conservatively overall. Other Latino groups vote heavily socialist, and the importing of more and more, given trends, will ensure that America's sovereignty, Constitution and culture go out the door.

Bob J, Bush could abide by the rule of law and court people. However, he plays the same old group politics. Meanwhile, it will cost us chunks of our country, our culture, as well as any chance of re-electing a future conservative. Hope rarely supercedes trends. Just remember that.

I don't know. Are you?

I don't know anything about you.
All I know is that when the word "bigotry" came up in my discussion with another poster, which had nothing to do with you...you somehow took it personally and flew off the handle and started making these wild and hysterical accusations.

BTW, nothing you've said has a thing to do with the topic I was discussing. So far you haven't shown me where anything I said is wrong.
Probably because I'm right.

One word. Bigotry.

I have one word for you: Liberal

Furthermore, you fail to see the facts of what is happening. Political Correctness often clouds common sense.

So you like a balkanzied America? Two languages, two cultures?

Tell me, do you live in one of these overly-invaded areas, or are you yelling about the values of multiculturalism from a homogenously American area?
