But Davis senior strategist Garry South strongly rejected suggestions that state business is in any way linked to the governor's campaign.

``We have been very, very consistent over the course of this administration to make sure there is as bright a line as possible between the fundraising side and the policy side,'' he said.

This guy must be a great poker player to be able to say things like this with a straight face.

Today, virtually every decision on public policy ultimately boils down to money contributed to politicians. The politics of America is for sale to the highest bidder. It costs a fortune to run for office so money makes the decisions.
