....Saw a big sign in my area today that said:

Happiness is a new Governor....
Stop the payoffs!

But blacks are getting restless with the Democrat leadership. Why, if they are so crucial to the Democrats electoral hopes, has there not been a black Majority leader? Why no black Senators? Why no black Speaker of the House? Why no black Presidential or Vice Presidential nominee?

You ask some pretty darn good questions. BUMP

Couple this with the fact that there is NO photo ID requirement at polling places. Literally anyone can request a provisional ballot and vote.

And, if prop 52 passes, the provisional ballots will become real ballots as anyone will be able to register on election day at the polls. No proof of citizenship, no proof of ID, and no proof of residency (other than a utility bill). No way to prove voter fraud once the ballots are cast.

Vote NO on 52

Davis spending $18 million on slam ads since June... accomplished nothing.

That's $18 million that Simon saved by not matching Davis with useless ads during the summer! Great planning!

Hey Davis, if your negative ads don't work when nobody's watching TV, how about taking a little time off to debate Simon during a prime-time televised debate? A series of radio debates is good, too. Defend your record for Californians to see instead of cowardly hiding behind prerecorded ads.

I wonder if the Simon camp has talked to Shannon (sp?) Reeves (NAACP, Oakland) who is a conservative African-American leader.

Shannon is also the Secretary of the CA Republican Party. Definitely an up and coming young man, and one HECK of a speaker! And he's single, ladies!

Shannon will undoubtedly be at the upcoming CRP convention. The California Republican Party's Fall 2002 Convention is scheduled for September 27-29. The Convention will be held at the Orange County Hyatt Regency Hotel, 11999 Harbor Blvd., in Garden Grove.
