Reality's a nice place, but I wouldn't want to live there.

Shoot, guy, we're Californians! When was the last time we lived in the real world?

But seriously ... that's a funny thing to say about a candidate who's only 8 points behind in the polls, and is running against a governor even the hard left scorns. I think you should give the guy a chance.

I'm sorry. I can't imagine living in California, especially SoCal. But then, I've moved to a state that has produced Bill and Hillary, among other misfits.

What can I say? It looks like we're about to fire Tim Hutchinson in favor of a slicked-up pretty boy Democrat. I think I may wear shoes in protest.

Ciao, y'all!

I lived in So. Cal for three years and hated it. I live in beautiful No. Cal now and love it ... but we'll be leaving California if things don't start improving, and quickly. I fear that Davis' dastardly deeds will cause a huge drop in housing prices, and our equity will be wiped out in short order.

The northern part is where all the REAL freaks are. I gew up in San Diego, a real conservative military/ex military town. Now they're getting more Dim by the year, thanks to La Raza. LA is allright; not too in your face freaky like the Bay Gay Area.

I think I may wear shoes in protest.
LOL--I appreciate folks that don't take themselves or stereotypes about their ______ too seriously. I always chuckle everytime I hear the "Granola State" line...

Why is the 10/7 debate at 10am?
And if you read the press release the debate is 1pm so which is right?
I had originally planned for the FReep to start at 10 am.
Perhaps I will change that, and start the FReep 11 am.
As of this press release on 9/25, however, the DEBATE still appears to start at noon:

ADVISORY/Los Angeles Times, Tribune Broadcasting Present Gubernatorial Debate Between Gov. Gray Davis and Bill Simon Jr.
Wednesday September 25, 1:00 pm ET

  • (BUSINESS WIRE)--
    When: Monday, Oct. 7 12-1 p.m. Debate
                                        1:10 p.m. Post-debate media
                                                   briefing TBD by
                                                   candidates

    Where: Times Building, 202 W. 1st St.
                        downtown Los Angeles
                        - Debate: Chandler Auditorium

Obviously, eGray does not want this debate to be seen in prime time.

Too many people will see for themselves that Gray Davis is a bum, and Bill Simon is not.
