Have to wonder what all the fuss over Iraq and the Muzzies is all about. One need look no further than the DNC for the real enemies of America.

More proof that one can not be a liberal and be a good person.

Today's New Marx Times quotes the DNC as saying that, since it's just a cartoon, no one should take offense. Republicans are so, like, over-sensitive, you know...

A political organization (DNC) that ruthlessly attempts to frighten and mislead the most vulnerable of our citizens for the sake of gaining power and control over our lives. This tactic is a variation of "terrorism" in my view. Behold, the axis of evil within our borders.

I guess its time to revive the "Rats" ad.

If that ad was on a site like ours, it would be fine.

But for the Democrat party to fund, support and offer that Ad on their official website... That's political suicide. Bye, Bye DemocRAT Senate.

And as for the Democrat staffer who said the ad was staying on the site, she'll be eating her words in a day or two.

The narrator was made even less believable by that lisp.

Maybe there should be a cartoon showing the Dems saving an old lady in a wheelchair from going over a cliff, while they shove all the young people off the cliff.

The caption would be "Save Social Security today, who cares about tomorrow?"

To quote Tom Daschle, "It is outrageous...OUTRAGEOUS!" There, was that convincing enough?

It's a stupid childish cartoon, mildly offensive, but has no place on the DNC site. Being associated with the DNC gives the bit of fluff more seriousness than it's due and makes you think it's not entirely a joke.

Then again, Dems have never been good at humor. They're too busy earnestly striving for "gravitas" (or has that word been retired from the lexicon?)

2 things about the Rats ad:

The Democraps pointed out how the word "rat" seemed to be emphasized in "bureaucrats" but they neglected to mention that "democrats" contains the same word.

Now they'll just have to live with being called the Rat party...

Thomas Nast's jackass was long an appropriate mascot for them but it has been superceded in recent years:

the "talented" liberal writers offer their talents to Hollywood to attack Republicans; it pays much better than the DNC ever would.

I sent the DNC a note about this.

I did as well. I e-mailed them yesterday and told them that for every day that it was on their web site, I was sending $10 to the Republican National Senatorial Committee.

Today I e-mailed them and told them again and told them that it was now $20 - and counting.

Maybe if enough people did this, they'd take it down.

Maybe there should be a cartoon showing the Dems saving an old lady in a wheelchair from going over a cliff, while they shove all the young people off the cliff.

Just play Joycelyn Elder's speech (while she was in Clinton's cabinet) where she says (paraphrased) "old people are just going to die anyway" and that "young people need to recieve (preferential) medical treatment because they are the ones who will be paying for my social security".

Then have the rebuttal: Now tell us again what party wants to kill off the elderly???

Thanks for posting this link to the shockwave clip. I've disabled my javascript and the DNCommies wouldn't let me view it otherwise.

Found this on the RNC website (although I haven't hit an article that takes the DNC to task for this clip):

WHEN DEMOCRATS TALK ABOUT SAVING SOCIAL SECURITY, WATCH OUT!

How would the Dems react if we made a picture of Hillary sitting on a park bench talking to Vince Foster while holding a gun to the back of his head? Just wondering. I don't think they would find it funny, but then who cares. I also like the idea of replacing Bush's pictures with Daschel. That would be great.

"If that ad was on a site like ours, it would be fine."

No, it would not be, at least if ther person the ad was about was someone we were certain is NOT a murderer.

With all the billons of word and cartoons about Clinton, I never saw anyone draw a cartoon or animation "kidding around" that he had killed someone. I'll leave it others to speculate about why.

Question to discuss: With the new rules on campaign finance reform, I wonder if the RNC could simply purchase some TV time, run a clip of Clinton talking about the "politics of personal destruction, and then show the clip of Bush pushing the old lady down the cliff, indicating that it came from the DNC website.

And then end it with a big question mark on the screen.

IF the RNC can't do it, maybe somebody else could.

Similar to Papa Bush's broken "Read My Lips" promise when he bailed out the Savings and Loans, Dubya's Social Security "Privatization" is nothing but a scandalous assault of taxpayers by Wall Street financial institutions. The Shrub is also facilitating this thievery with his putrid proposal for subsidized terrorism "insurance".

If the current SS System = Enron, then Dubya's "privatization" plan = Arthur Anderson.

Both major political parties perpetuate The Big Lie regarding Social Security. The Big Lie has existed since Social Security's inception. The debate over "privatization" is only the latest version of The Big Lie.

The Big Lie is that Social Security is some kind of retirement savings plan.

It is NOT.

Social Security is a socialist income redistribution scheme, nothing else.

Those who are working are taxed to provide a "safety net" for those who are less fortunate.
Originally, this meant retirees and surviving dependents.
Congress has, of course, complicated it far beyond this over the last 65 years.

But one fact remains: it is NOT a "savings plan", it is an income redistribution scheme.

A major facet of The Big Lie is that "we have to do something so that Social Security remains solvent in the future.

Poppycock!

In today's age of modern computerization, the computation for operating an income redistribution scheme that remains perpetually solvent is quite simple:

This month's total SS tax receipts = Next month's total SS tax disbursements

The only change necessary to the current system is that monthly payments to eligible recipients would be a variable amount, not fixed.

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO NEED FOR A MULTI-TRILLION DOLLAR "TRUST" FUND!!!

Congress should NEVER have been permitted to confiscate so much money from the American People in the name of The Big Lie. This fund is nothing but a slush fund that Congress raids to pay for other government expenditures. If private sector employers did the same thing with their companies' pension funds, they'd be placed in prison. The "privatization" plan proposed by Bush is merely an attempt by Wall Street brokerage firms and financial institutions to get in on the scam: grab a portion of a constant revenue stream (guaranteed by taxation) from which they can skim their commissions.

Daschle's "concern" over the Social Security system is a lie.

Bush's plan to Enronize the system is worse.

The American People need to wake up and put these liars and thieves in prison.
