Well, now, even if He registered as a Democrat (I speak as a fool), they'd not endorse Him. That's actually the root of their cognitive problem.

no one should mistake this for an endorsement of Gray Davis or his cashbox politics.
But of course that's exactly what it is.

Just like the decision of the SCoNJ to put Lautenberg on the ballot was an endorsement of a man--and a party--which did not oppose Torricelli in the Democratic primary.

I voted for one Democrat.

Go sit in the corner!

Not so much as for who you voted for as for the fact that you told everybody!

and no TV tonight either!!! :-)

Simon is an office seeker in America 2002 A.D. This fact alone raises a presumption of vice addiction against the would be office holder.
If there is no difference between the two political parties, you can go by the scandals of Democrats like Torricelli and x42--and condemn all politicians without being cynical. But there in fact are two different parties appealing to two different constituencies and accordingly marketing themselves differently.

The Democratic Party is the party of the rich and famous, marketing itself as the party of the little guy. The Republican Party is the party of the middle class.

More Republicans than Democrats make contributions, Democrats who do contribute tend to make larger contributions. The Red/Blue map illustrates that Democrats are concentrated in the cities and the wealthy suburbs.
