I really can't understand why so many of you addicts think it's so bad for me to spit on you, but you should be able to suck on a poison weed,

The same reason medical professionals don't want you spitting on them.
Possible AIDS.
I'll take SHS over your spit any day.

Parked the car yet?

"Instead of honoring the children and giving them a clean environment they rationalize away the potential dangers so they can selfishly indulge their addictions without the inconvience of leaving the room and smoking outdoors or in a closed room away from the children."

Prof. Knox from the University of Birmingham concluded, "Childhood cancers are strongly determined by prenatal or early postnatal exposures to oil based combustion gases, especially from engine exhausts. 1,3 butadiene, a known carcinogen, may be directly causal."

Smoking may or may not be a right, but I doubt that it is a constitutional right. I don't advocate this, but smoking could be criminalized without violating any "right to smoke."

I can understand the person who posted that he wouldn't allow his mother to see his kids if she had tobacco smoke on her. I had not planned to be that extreme with my kids and my mother, but I wouldn't have allowed them as babies to be in her house full of smoke, nor would I have allowed her to smoke in my house. Alas, that issue never arose, as she died of lung cancer about 7 months after my wife and I got married....

I forgot all about this thread. I did finish my research document and you might find it interesting:

The following year, I wrote another research document on the health effects of exhaust fumes from motor vehicles and how their effects are ginormously higher than smoking, but the easiest thing to blame cancer on is tobacco because we need cars, but don’t need tobacco. It’s only logical for the government to attack smoking since it’s a voluntary inhalation.
