Bush is buying Mexican votes with American national security. He needs to be removed from office.

To be fair Clinton did it to and he should have been removed from office too. Some presidents shouldn't be allowed to finish their terms. I'm afraid that Bush might be one of those.

Good point. Bush and Clinton are very similar if not identical when it comes to foreign policy.

I doubt that we would be going to war with Iraq if Clinton were president but we would have done a better job in Afghanistan with Clinton because Republicans would have insisted.

Republicans didn't insist because a Republican was in the white house. Democrats wouldn't insist to begin with.

It's a wash. We need another Reagan that will do the right thing instead of what is politically correct or just politically expedient.

Volunteer to patrol our border or support these guys in some other way.

Our government refuses to perform it's most basic responsibility while it meddles in so many issues that are none of it's business.

So you will get back at Bush by helping elect a RAT who will litterally declare open borders and voting rights to all illegals. Use your head, if you have one.

Presented today at 3:30 pm to a very attentive audience. I have a meeting scheduled with our Mayor and City Manager to continue the subject.

REQUEST TO SPEAK BEFORE THE
SPARKS CITY COUNCIL
January 27, 2003

Full and Complete Municipal Code Enforcement

I have been observing the increasing need for taxes with much consternation. It is time to consider if our current business permit policies are providing a safe community for the residents of Sparks. The questions are, are we freely permitting a criminal society to intermingle with our lawful residents or are we promoting this practice?

The past and present explosive population growth of Nevada and the difficulties our officials have had in controlling the ever increasing illegal alien population in Nevada are undoubtedly primary causes of this continiously rising need for money. More and more Americans are displaced from their jobs by illegal immigrants. The illegal immigrant continues to flaunt violations of Federal law in the face of the unemployed, the underemployed and all other law abiding Americans.

This crisis is calling for the development of a program to alleviate the need for constant tax increases. I am aware that our local law enforcement is restricted from enforcing Federal Codes, however our local agency officials are required to enforce our local ordinances. I feel you must take immediate action to control our uncontrolled growing expenses. Proper Municipal Code enforcement must be fully promoted by all local agencies using the assistance of our law enforcement personel.

After some research I have discovered that our local ordinances have penalties for business men who violate the conditions of their business permits. Illegal acts contrary to any law of this country are prohibited. Violation of Title 8 laws are violations of the conditions under which the business permit was issued.

"Section 5.08.050 Illegal acts.

No license issued pursuant to this title shall be construed to permit or condone the transaction of any business or the performance of any act which is otherwise contrary to law. All licenses issued, whether or not explicitly so stated, are subject to all other provisions of state and local law with respect to licenses, permits, safety standards, prohibited acts or conditions and other applicable provisions.

Hiring an illegal alien is a violation of a federal law which should put the local Business License holder under scrutiny by our police and/or the proper Code enforcement agency due to this violation because of these words, "shall not be construed to permit or condone the transaction of any business or the performance of any act which is otherwise contrary to law."

No arrest of the illegal alien is required, just that the employer fire him because this puts the employer in violation of the local City ordinance, thereby jeopardizing his business permit. A person presenting false identification and filing a false FORM I-9 with the employer is hired under deceptive practices.

The same situation applies to apartment owners. Presenting an intentionally false Rental Application is also an illegal act of deceivance. The apartment owner must require the illegal immigrant tenant to vacate the premises to remain within the requirements of their business permit. They are violating their business permits under "aiding and abetting illegal aliens".

I believe a proper announcement would be that a law-breaker is a law-breaker and we cannot casually enforce our laws if we are to expect compliance from all of our legal City residents. The businessman should not be viewed as being allowed to violate our Municipal Codes with City officials continually turning a blind eye to this serious and costly situation.

Undoubtedly this will result in controversial comments by supporters of diversity. I do believe your inaction is the result of federal acquiescence to illegal aliens. You may find this legal finding useful in discussing this matter with others who object to lawful code enforcement.

"The federal Government may neither issue directives requiring the States to address particular problems, nor command State' officers, or those of their political subdivisions, to administer or enforce a federal regulatory program. It matters not whether policy making is involved, and no case by case weighing of the burdens or benefits is necessary; such commands are fundamentally incompatible with our constitutional system of dual sovereignty." Justice Antonin Scalia, Mack vs US., June 27, 1997

I'm sure, you have noted that investors are becoming increasingly tight-fisted. You, our community leaders, must follow their example in spending our tax dollars. The immediate adoption of a plan such as this will result in increased efficiency and promote a far superior accountability of our taxes to the voters who elected you. Passive consent to illegal immigrants only promotes their continued law-breaking. We cannot accept this from our elected officials. .

Study the distinction between the necessary compassion for the American citizen and unjust support for law breaking illegal immigrant. Providing education, school meals, housing, food stamps, health care and the law enforcement for illegal immigrants costs us millions of tax dollars each year. This exploitation of our social programs is terribly expensive. Our local law enforcement, judicial and correctional professionals can attest to the fact that the adjudication and incarceration of criminal illegal immigrants is very costly. You must reduce these costs to contain local tax expenditures.

The fewer law-breakers we have in our community, the less these expenses will be. The illegal immigrants we have taking jobs away from legal residents results in additional millions of dollars in public assistance being needed by Sparks residents who could be gainfully employed and paying full taxes.

This action will have a tremendously positive effect upon our community. It will make a powerful statement to businesses everywhere that the City of Sparks elected officials shall not continue to ignore Municipal Code violations by permitting the hiring of illegal aliens by local business owners. I encourage enthusiastic and active participation of these measures to avoid deep cutbacks of the numerous social services which the City provides our lawful residents.

Any efforts you can put forth to correct this situation will be helping the City of Sparks maintain its good reputation which is highly appreciated by all residents.

I thank you very much, in advance, for your time and cooperation in this matter.

This is a different approach than I have yet to see other do. Starting with your local officials is cheaper and easier. They are much more attentive to you, the local taxpayer, than your Congressman is.

Do you know the meaning of the term "fifth column?" It's a group that's not only disloyal, but ready to take up arms against the state, and carry out violent acts of terrorism and sabotage at home. You might not like Mexican immigrants, but they certainly do not constitute a fifth column.

I do not intend to "get back"at Bush. I will not vote for a Demonrat, I will either vote for a third party, or write someone in.

My head is just fine, thank you

Your head is fine ? Care to explain how throwing your vote away on a third party candidate is going to help stop an open borders democrat ? Comon, I know you have a brain, now use it !

Wait a minute there. There are many forms of terrorism, one type is being invaded by millions of illegal aliens, that defecate on our laws, that have no respect for our sovereignty, that choke off our social services, over crowd our classrooms, freeways, expressways, use up our resources meant for citizens, commit crimes on our citizens and police, fill our jails, create massive fraud on an astronomical scale, etc etc etc

So you see there are many forms of terrorism, and nothing is more of a threat than this titanic lawlessness on a national scale. Our sovereignty is under attack, this government sponsored invasion of millions has resulted in national chaos. A true terrorist action.

Their trying to take away our right to defend our own lives and our country.

When? they succeed in making the civilian patrol groups stop, it should be a slap in the face to everyone.

To me, just the fact that the government does NOT listen to the will of the people should be a slap in the face to everyone.

I should get back to the topic of this post.
Why will the government NOT do something about the illegal situation? It's sucking the funds out of schools, hospitals, welfare systems and it's turning some of our cities into battle grounds.
Because the polititions want the illegals votes and they don't believe the strife it is causing will ever touch them personally.

Polititions BELIEVE they are part of the human elite and the people they care about, they protect and help(translation: they make their friends and family rich and part of the "in crowd".
The rest of us are just something they have to put up with.

I don't believe for a second that my Governor(Grey), or Bush or any of them could care less if I starve or get shot to death. There's millions like me, what's one less or a hundred or a thousand.

The government doesn't want the common people to have guns.
Not because of crime or "for the children", but because sleazy polititions do sleazy things that screw the American people and the polititions are afraid of an armed population.

Nope, that doesn't fit the definition of a fifth column. They have to be ready to rise up against the rest of us and kill us.

Call it what you want to, 5th column, invasion of millions of illegal aliens, mass murder, (One of the Washington area snipers was also an illegal alien, along with many cop killers and other illegal aliens that have come here and killed our citizens). Check out any law enforcement website, and check out how many illegal aliens are wanted for homicides, rapes, arson, drug sales, robberies, carjackings, etc etc etc.....Yes, in my opinion looking at the statistics, we are definitely at war. A big war. Go look for yourself.

As I stated earlier, there are many forms of terrorism, and the invasion of millions of illegal aliens is certainly one of them.

Thanks for that lead article--it's a nice little summary for those who haven't been paying attention.

Since you guys brought up China, it looks like their little success with the EP3 has emboldened them. Apparently they've been harrassing our Navy.

China enacts law extending its control
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/830370/posts

Excerpts:

China has enacted a new decree extending its control over a 200-mile economic zone from its coast that Bush administration officials say could lead to another clash with the United States over freedom of navigation. "This is a Chinese domestic law that is inconsistent with international law and the law that we follow," said a defense official. (Snip)

The law, announced in December by Beijing, states that any survey and mapping activities cannot involve state secrets or harm state security, a change from a 1995 decree that granted all nations "freedom of navigation in and flight" over its exclusive economic zone as long as they comply with international law and Chinese law.

The amended law also says Chinese civil and military authorities must approve all survey and mapping activity in Chinese-controlled waters and requires that any "foreign entities" wishing to do such work in that zone must be part of a joint venture with a Chinese company.

The law states that any unapproved ocean-survey activity will be subject to sanctions, including fines, and confiscation of equipment and data.

The Chinese decree also warns there will be "additional unspecified penalties" if the confiscated data are determined to involve state secrets. (Snip)

Control to 200 miles out would give Beijing power over vital strategic waterways throughout the Asia-Pacific region, something the U.S. military opposes as a threat to free navigation.

China's long-term goal, defense officials claim, is to beef up naval and air forces to project power east from its 10,000 miles of coastline to cover two chains of islands. One chain stretches south from Japan — the Ryukyu Islands — through Taiwan and all the way to Indonesia and Singapore. The outermost island chain embraces a huge swath of the Pacific Ocean that includes Japan's other islands, areas beyond the Mariana Islands and a line extending southward hundreds of miles east of the Philippines.(Snip)

The announcement of the new Chinese law follows the harassment of the Navy's ocean-survey ship USS Bowditch by Chinese military patrol aircraft and ships in September.

The Bowditch was traveling in international waters off the coast of northern China in the Yellow Sea. Shortly after its arrival in the area Sept. 7, Chinese Y-8 and Y-12 aircraft flew within 500 feet of the ship and warships made threatening passes, coming within 200 yards of the vessel. Chinese patrol craft also radioed threatening messages, telling the Bowditch to leave the area, which China claims as its territorial water. Beijing also lodged a diplomatic protest over the incident.

The Navy said the ship was operating legally in international waters.

A Chinese government spokewoman accused the Navy of violating China's law.

"We regard such activities as a violation of the principles of international law and of the interests and jurisdiction of China's special economic zones," Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue told reporters in Beijing at the time.

The incident came weeks before Chinese President Jiang Zemin visited the United States.

A U.S. defense official at the time dismissed the Chinese claim as "laughable" because the Bowditch was operating some 60 miles off the Chinese coast. The unarmed ship was conducting hydrographic survey and "is hardly a threat," the official said.

Anyone who thinks the PRC isn't taking advantage of our laissez faire attitude toward illegals and open borders to preplan for a possible war isn't thinking very clearly.

They're loyal to Mexico which might not mean much at this time, but I wonder if the handouts were to be cut off if things would be different. Also those working for the drug cartels are willing to do anything.
