When you protest, make sure to keep a good humor about you. The other side will try to provoke, and you need to be sure to have your wits about you and your emotions under control.

Remember: happy, happy, happy. The other side really, really hates that (Trust me, I've done it).

Other thing to keep in mind that if some folks with you have not had experience protesting before, to make sure that experienced hands show them the ropes...
