The two Democrats seeking to unseat U.S. Sen. George Allen, R-Va., virtually ignored him yesterday and trained their sights on each other.
In the first televised joint appearance of the campaign, James Webb referred to a union description of Harris Miller as "the anti-Christ of outsourcing."
At one point, after being interrupted by Miller, an angry-appearing Webb exclaimed:
"Harris, if you shut your mouth, I'll answer the question."

Webb is a punk. Those FReepers who know a Virginian who might be fooled by the guy's uniform should make a point of sending anything derogatory they can find on him.
Allen should win, but the Dems may throw a lot at him, and Webb has the potential to take many swing votes.

Webb is a Navy Cross winner.
Fine. He is also a Rat. If we're deciding who should be in the Senate, I'm interested in things like that, not what he did forty years ago. If there's tie between two candidates in terms of desirability, a medal or honorable service is a tiebreaker. But that's all. Elections aren't about who deserves personal honor. They're about who will be better or worse for the country. On that score, Webb is a loser, and I devoutly hope he loses, badly.
