Technically not a political target, but, Sarah Palin’s church was burned to the ground by arsonists. I don’t know if anyone was ever caught and charged. But there’s a good chance the arsonists knew who the most famous member of the congregation of that church was.

Be sure Fox News, and Bill OReilly get a copy, as there has been too much reiteration of “unproven” comments from tea party protest Sat....it is mostly an exaggeration, and a scam. I found this on INSTAPUNDIT:
QUOTE
March 25, 2010
AN IMPLAUSIBLE REPORT IN THE SEATTLE TIMES: “A rock was thrown through the window of Driehaus’ Cincinnati office Sunday.”

Justin Binik-Thomas emails from Cincinnati that Rep. Driehaus’ office “is on the 30th floor of a skyscraper downtown.”

UNQUOTE

NOW THAT’S QUITE A THROW UP 30 STORIES WITH A BRICK, DON’T YOU SAY?

While this will not qualify as an “act of violence,” in 1960, John F. Kennedy beat Richard Nixon by a very narrow margin, an occurrance that would have easily led to a recount. Even though many felt that Kennedy’s victory had been helped along by vote fraud, courtesy of Chicago Mayor Richard J. daley and his “Machine,” Nixon refrained from asking for a recount so that the American People should not have to suffer not knowing who their new President was.
