I simply don’t think Palin used this opportunity as well as she could have, messaging wise.

Your "concern" is dutifully noted. ROTFLMAO!

Why are you so disproportionately bent of shape?

Were you a breach birth?

“I believe Rolling Thunder got more coverage than it would have”

I think the reality is a lot of people on Free Republic got exposed to it for the first time, so they can’t fathom how it got less coverage. If the coverage this year was consumed by the medias obsession with Palin, then it backfired. There was less coverage and less mention of the POW’s from Vietnam (and elsewhere) on Fox and Cspan, and CNN this year.

By the way, Rolling Thunder was initiated to put pressure on our government for search and rescue missions in Vietnam under the belief there are still troops being held.

Well that's your opinion. I don't agree with it.

The medias obsession with the Palins brought more coverage to the event. More people heard about the event and more people thought about what the event meant.

By the way, Rolling Thunder was initiated to put pressure on our government for search and rescue missions in Vietnam under the belief there are still troops being held.

Of course.

BTW there are still over 1700 MIA in Vietnam.

I don't know if it's true or not, but if it is, it certainly would suggestion that Palin's appearance did help.

So she is definitely saying this bus tour is NOT her presidential campaign, not that it proves what she will or will not do in the future.

I agree for different reasons. She cannot campaign under SarahPAC. She can do everything else. Once the Governor announces, she will have to abandon funding from the PAC. She is being consistent.
