Palin supporters announce Iowa ad buy (May commission a nat'l primary poll that includes Gov Palin)

Some Sarah Palin supporters are still hopeful the former Alaska governor will jump into the GOP's 2012 presidential race and will run an ad in Iowa urging her to run.

Conservatives4Palin will air a television ad in the Sioux City, Iowa market asking the 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate to enter the 2012 race, reports The Des Moines Register.

In October, Palin announced that she would not run for the party's nomination. "You don't need an office or a title to make a difference," she said in a YouTube video. Palin had weighed a presidential bid for months and was the subject of much media speculation.

The Register reports that Conservatives4Palin announced the ad buy Friday in a blogpost on their website.

"Your contributions have made it possible for us to run the Palin reconsider television ad next week in the Sioux City, Iowa market," said the post. "If this ad is able to build some momentum for the Governor, the best way to keep that momentum going may be to commission a national GOP primary poll that includes the Governor as one of the options."

However, with the Hawkeye State's caucuses on Jan 3, the group has little time to convince Palin to reconsider her decision and enter the race.

“Romney is a sure loser.”

He won't get the nomination.
The party mucky mucks will abandon him once the realize that we conservatives are serious about sitting home next November if he were nominated.
They don't believe us right now.

I don’t think losing bothers them. I think they are more comfortable in the minority.

If more people put their families first, the nation would be in ruins. Who are you kidding!

Italians always put their families first; so do Arabs.

Americans are different, or didn’t you notice?

Sarah Palin is so much smarter than doing something like this. Give her some credit.

She’s running interference for Perry. As Perry rises, she will be there to absorb incoming.

Its not too late to qualify slates of conservative electors for the 2012 election, should the Republicans do the wrong thing during the convention.

Getting them qualified for the ballot should be incentive for the RNC hierarchy to nominate a conservative, which is by no means certain with the number of open primaries out there for liberals to make mischief in for their favorites.

I like Palin but I believe she needs to answer the charges against her, fully and completely. If she is guilty of the charges she should resign, again. We all remember how she reacted when they attacked Mr Cain, how she stood behind him, with a knife.

You know, I kinda wish someone were “running interference” for Palin for a change. She’s had to put up with a 1000x the crap any other typical politician has had to endure.... a coordinated Dem effort to bankrupt her and her family, the arson of her church, the sliming of her family in the tabloids, ‘rape’ jokes towards her and her 13-year-old daughter by Hollywood cretins, the media’s inflammatory attempt to blame her for complicity in mass-murder in Arizona, the outlandish lies and smears from McGinnis spread far and wide, and last but not least, the backstabbing from her own courtesy of the GOP, which never lifted a finger to defend her in any of this.

Yep, I indeed wish someone would “run interference” for her for a change. Come to think of it, maybe in its own little curious way, this effort of the Iowa commercial buy constitutes this. So I guess I’m okay with it. Might be a good contingency plan, anyway, considering the primary race looks like a slow-motion train wreck which might even last all the way until the convention in September.

Isn’t it strange that all three of you got here after Mr. Obama was elected in 2008? Hmmmmmm...

Sarah’s not the type to need shielding. She picks her own battles, wins them, then rests when she feels like it, and picks up the guns again when she’s ready.

Isn’t it strange that Mrs. Palin collect 10’s of millions of dollars in donations for a presidential run, then decided not to run? Hmmmmmmmmmmm

Are you insane? If you’re talking about SarahPAC, the last I heard it was at about $1.2 million, and has tended to hover around that amount since its inception in 2009. And it’s for donating to candidates and paying for travel expenses. It’s NOT nor was it ever a Presidential PAC.

This is how she defended Mr Cain on Greta 11/15/11. “SARAH PALIN, FOX NEWS CONTRIBUTOR/FORMER ALASKA GOVERNOR: Well, all of these candidates, thankfully, have strengths that they’re bringing into the race, and we appreciate them being in the arena and being willing to put their names forward in the name of service.

As for Herman Cain, you know, he needs to be candid and quite truthful about these sexual allegations still because people are kind of hesitant a bit to, you know, delve right in there as supporters, not knowing what the truth is. It really sucks to be falsely accused. Believe me, I know because I have been also.

And if these sexual harassment allegations are false, then Herman Cain at the end of the day is going to take a deep breath and say, you know, Where does one go to get back their reputation after such allegations have been lobbed if they’re not true? If they are true, if he disrespects women, then, you know, we’re going to cross him off the list.

But Herman Cain just needs to answer candidly the questions that are still being posed of him. And Herman, too, needs to really concentrate on the substance that is necessary when it comes to the solutions that he proposes to America’s challenge. People are waiting for that substance not just from Herman but from all of the candidates when it comes to their proposals.” And to think, I almost bought her campaign video...don’t care if I every hear a word from her again.

Don’t be gullible.

The Party muckety mucks WANT Romney to lose to OJesus.

If you are part of the American Crossroads mafia, you’re all about putting the Bushies back in the White House in 2016.

The only way you can do that is if Romney loses.

The Establishment is going to throw this election. Trust me.

Best,

Chris

That was a political action committee (PAC) not a presidential campaign fund. And she spent quite a bit of it on getting conservatives elected since it was created. Do some research, Einstein.
