Make sure the Right person goes against Obama
Tea Party Nation ^ | March 7, 2012 | Joseph A. Gallant

Posted on 03/07/2012 11:11:04 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

Establishment Republicans will not stop supporting liberal RINO's until we Conservatives once and for all deliver a united blow against this GOP elitist in some sort of SOLIDARITY behind one particular conservative candidate soon or else we will lose.

The Day After Super Tuesday » Judson Phillips - articulates it best in this (VIDEO): http://bit.ly/xgCt6T

Wake up people! The people who said Sarah Palin was not electable are the same people who say Newt is not electable. This is just BS!

Remember Reagan too, lost 6 primary contest before becoming the GOP nominee in 1976, for that matter in 2008 elections McCain lost a total of 16 primaries contest before wining the GOP nomination only to lose.

If you’re going to put your best puncher in the fight, you want the hardest hitter. I’d love to see Newt and Obama debate. Newt can beat Obama.

However, All of the establishment attacks, be they from the media or the well fed right, will only make Gingrich more appealing to the Tea Party Patriots and GOP base voters. After all, people do remember and did like the ’90s.

Unquestioning party loyalty to any political party is the sign of a weak and lazy mind. It is far harder to think for yourself than rely upon the party machine to tell you what your opinion is. Even more disgusting are those political operatives who duplicitously claim to be free thinkers as strategy to hijack or divide groups like the tea party.

Unfortunately the GOP establishment has regain control of the GOP with Romney with not so much as a nod in favour of the Tea Party groups. Obviously he's not a Tea Party favourite.

Of the remaining Republican candidates still left in the race for the GOP nomination, the only one that comes close to sounding anything like Reagan said in 80's is Newt Gingrich. He may say them in a different way, but what Newt is saying is basically many of the same things that Reagan not only said, but did. And look at how he turned the nation around into one of the most prosperous times in our nation’s history.

RUSH: Question: Who was the last person to actually cut government? Answer: Newt. (Audio) http://youtu.be/QadeAkdI9xw

Reagan believed the power of truth restated the world and re-framed the world. I'm a Reaganite. I'm proud to be a Reaganite. I will tell the truth, even if it's at the risk of causing some confusion, sometimes, with the timid. - Newt Gingrich.

Newt Gingrich once said: "I believe if we had a Republican House, Republican Senate, and a Gingrich presidency, we'd get amazing things done."

In politic's you are forced to compromise sometimes with the the other side, with Newt leadership as former GOP House Speaker who author and spear-headed Contract with America, manage to win both democratic control houses for the first time in 40 years under Bill Clinton's administration, quite an accomplishment to say the least.

Newt Gingrich and The Republican Revolution - FULL - (VIDEO) http://bit.ly/yT1DIR

"There is no avoiding the fact that we live in a practical, tactical world. Personality has its place and electability matters" But this is not a beauty contest nor the cult of personality affection. So what the heck are we really squabbling about? We need a fighter like Newt, get realistic, we have a "Socialist Marxist" in the White House and a Constitutional Crisis of Executive Powers!!!

So if we lose with Mitt Romney as I believe we will, we can only look forward to the GOP to really go after the US Senate in an attempt to box-in Obama after 2012. However, Obama will rule by executive order right up until we have a constitutional crisis. I mean, the country has to reign in a president’s ability to rule by fiat, through executive orders, by-passing the Congress, which is purportedly, the people’s voice. There can be no doubt Obama is abusing that privilege and it must be stopped. (That is one of the many reasons we conservatives want to defeat Obama in the 2012 election!) The 14th Amendment was intended to clear Civil War debt. Not to grant executive fiat to a tyrant.

NEWT once quoted ~ Abraham Lincoln pushed forth the "freedom of slavery" Barack Obama is pushing forth the "slavery of our freedom."

We have an CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS, a TYRANT in power. America in TROUBLE, Europe in CRISIS, and NEWT has REAL DEAL Solutions! These election primaries are really about TAKING OUR COUNTRY BACK, Not birth control contraception's or religious ideologies.

"Because we don't think about future generations, they will never forget us." The rule of 'progressives' is to re-write history to give source for change in our country... ACT NOW...GET INVOLVED...VOTE.

Politics are almost as exciting as war and quite as dangerous. In war you can only be killed once, but in politics - many times. ~ Winston Churchill.

My Candidate Newt Gingrich reports from Georgia that the death of my campaign has been greatly exaggerated, again for the third time.

Gingrich Senior Advisor Randy Evans Explains Delegate Math and path to victory from here. - (VIDEO) http://bit.ly/zWWq0A

Obama removed the bust of Winston Churchill from the White House, perhaps it look a little too much to resemble Newt Gingrich. I hope in a twist of fate that it is replace with one of our next future President Newt Gingrich, side by side with Churchill.

The deep South will rise again hopefully! Newt Gingrich remains the only true conservative alternative. If Gingrich can stay in the race, either he wins or has the potential to drive the primary to a brokered convention. If we cannot get Newt Gingrich in as our nominee, a brokered convention is our next best hope. A brokered convention would certainly not be perfect. In some ways it would be the ultimate “death by committee” nightmare. We would not get the next Ronald Reagan out of that convention but we would get a candidate better than Mitt Romney and possibly a candidate who can beat Barack Obama.

If Newt is not our nominee: "Obama re-election campaign's is going to be easy against Mitt Romney. He won't have to make attack ads against Mitt. He can just rent Newt's" truthful quips!

Newt: He’s a pro-life, pro-small government, pro-national security, Reagan conservative!! In short, we’re desperate, and he’s exactly what we’re looking for, Romney and Rove hate him, the Republican establishment elite ruling class hates him, the liberals hate him, the democrats hate him and they hate him for the same reasons the taxpayers will support him, the lovers of liberty will support him, the defenders of life will support him, the defenders of national security will support him, the lovers of the Reagan Revolution will support him, and we the tea party should support him!! He’s a tax cutting, budget balancing, strong defense, small government, pro-life Reagan CONSERVATIVE!!

Newt is the most BOLD, fearless and electable guy to run for the white house since Reagan. The things I like about Newt is the fact he’s unflappable. He’s been the prime target of the leftist Main Stream Media before and knows how to handle it. Personally, I think Gingrich is the only candidate who can whip Obama. Gingrich aided Reagan in cementing Reagan’s place in the history books.

Newt is not perfect he is just human like all of us but I believe their is a great person pushing him to do great things! People saying negative disparagement against Newt seem to be focused on not liking him or his record. I am talking purely about performance. No, he's not perfect and neither is Santorum, but they're not Satan incarnated either. I wish people would stop DOING that!

While it is true that you learn with age, the down side is that what you learn is often what a damn fool you were before. Thomas Sowell.

I had the opportunity to get to meet him and speak with him. Don't condemn him for his past and look at where he is going in his future. Newt has a lot of knowledge to offer all of us. Newt is hardly a stupid man, and he's probably forgotten more American History than most of us will ever learn.

I like Newt because he's not about besting his opponents, he's about showing them the error of their ways. I honestly believe that we should back him and forget all candidates past and focus on what they can do to get America back on the right track. Make a promise and KEEP IT!

"The man who recognizes his faults in public is more admired than the man who pretends his faults do not exist." Telling and true. Much better to try harder than believe you have no FAULTs.

With Newt as the nominee, the Republican message to swing voters might be, "Vote for the guy you dislike to replace the president whom you still like but who has disappointed you and the country." That's not an impossible sales pitch for Independents and Reagan Democrats.

Success is never guaranteed in life. In fact our constitution only guarantees the right to "pursue happiness" - not to obtain it. But what Conservatives are saying is that we desire the restoration of America with a fight - and Newt Gingrich is the man to lead that charge.

Newt is my #1 choice for whom I want...NO BULL! Just get the job DONE mentality! Anyone who thinks Newt campaign is anywhere near over is sadly mistaken.

So, spread the message forward emails of your favourite blogs to friends of friends. "An Informed public make great constituents; an uninformed public make bad choices." Choosing a leader is a dangerous thing. America should have learned this lesson from the results of the election of 2008. We are paying dearly for our monstrously bad choice in a national leader.

I vote for a candidate because I am convinced that candidate can do the job the way I want it done. No amount of pressure will get me to vote for the party’s favourite unless the party’s favourite happens to be my favourite.

I’m wired that way, but however my definition of an expert in any field is a person who knows enough about what's really going on to be scared. Obama is an "Abomination" to our country and his regime most diffidently has to go!!!

I think it would help the author's point if remembered correctly what he is asking us to remember.

Left wondering who doesn’t know this already, and shake my head for those who don’t.

The answer is hidden in plain sight and we’re jacking around with a junior jerk who needs a job, while our country is imploding.

It is too incredible for words really.

It is getting more and more difficult to believe that Americans have any intellegence left, as indicated by their lack of respect and appreciation for intellegence, for a real record, or even for accomplishment of historic proportion.

If it comes out of no-where-ville, if it’s hyper and walks and talks, could fit in on American Idol, that seems to be plenty good enough for prez. Oh, and does religious speak for the natives, then we’re all set.

Nevermind about the rare Churchills among us who possibly have never heard of American Idol.

God help us.

If you’re going to put your best puncher in the fight, you want the hardest hitter.

No, you want the most skilled and disciplined tactician. That's been Newt's problem the past 12 years. He has no discipline. He throws wild haymakers on the off-chance it might KO his opponent. Give me somebody who stays on message and doesn't lose focus. Unfortunalety, the only one of the four remaining who fits that description is Ron Paul.

It’s unfortunate that he still comes off so whiney, imho.

Actually Dr. Gingrich is the one who has been moving and shaking the nation with his profound words.

Speaker Gingrich’s discipline and tactics created a large portion of American history and created a Reagan legacy in the American legislature.

That little douche bag from my old congressional district in Texas never amounted to much, I suppose that is why he never accomplished anything.

A lot of Republicans simply don't know that Newt is a candidate, because they aren't reading, seeing, or hearing what we do. If you look at most of the media, Newt is barely mentioned. When he is mentioned, the media usually qualifies the statements by saying he can't win or he's not a serious candidate. Newt doesn't have the Romney money to get his name and policy positions out there for voters, and the GOPe is dead set against him.

.If there was a fracturing within the democrat party with members willing to disagree with its current leadership there would be a basis to elect a guy like Romney.

Alas there are no Proxmires, no Moynihans and really no liberals either in the democrat party . Their party is composed of fascists but that is their problem..Not ours.Ours is. We need candidates who couragiously identify those programs such as Eugenics desipte what Obama defenders in the (and they don’t believe they are fascist) MSM repeat... Who’s getting nailed the most on this ? And has your candidate dven broached the subject ?

4rcane: “the problem with Newt is that too many Conservatives don’t trust him. He say one thing and does another”

That may be the perception, but I think it’s an inaccurate one. Newt brought us the Contract with America, and he governed as a conservative. He’s said and done some less-than-conservative things since then, but when it came to “doing” he did what he said he was going to do. As for the things since, he’s explained or apologized for them to my satisfaction.

“Wrong” is consistent. He’s consistently good on some issues, like smaller government, but terribly, horribly, consistently bad on others, like national defense. Of course he’s not in this to win it. “Wrong” never had the slightest chance of winning.

He takes earmarks of all kinds for his district, all the while voting “no” on them, knowing they’ll pass without his vote.

I agree. We need a clear choice this November, and let the chips fall where they may. If we’re really at the point where a majority favor the neo-fascist and wealth redistributionist policies of the new Democrat party, so be it. What we don’t need is someone, like Romney, who literally stands for nothing and offers no clear distinction between his policies and Obama’s. Like you wrote, he can’t even appeal to disaffected Democrats, because he offers so little in contrast to what President Obama is already doing. Romney is Obama lite.

As an Expat living offshore since 2004, I can only look
from online as to how badly America has fallen since I left.

With a fully Marxist media and educational system, I find it really hard to see how America can survive, much less return to the grand days when Ronald Reagan was president.

As for the election this year, all of the candidates are flawed, but any of them would be better then the Marxist Obumbo.
As I look back to the “Contract With America”, I think Newt is probably the sharpest knife in the drawer, but it is becoming obvious that the RINOS will prevail.

I fear that only God can save America now, and he is not talking.

Excellent points 2DV - these are also the same people that say that Ron Paul is "not electable"... and in nationwide polls, Paul is the only GOP candidate that would appear to have a chance of beating Obama.
So logically, the GOP should rally behind Paul, as the only candidate with a statistical chance of beating Obama.

Not only women but the "electabity" idiots. Romney, to them, is the most electable candidate with an R next to his name. If they are somewhat conservative, ask them why they are voting for him. They'll literally tell you they have some serious doubts about whether or not he's conservative (DUH!), but that he's the "only one who can beat Obama." I don't want to be impolite, but "idiot" is the word that best describes such a mentality. They know Romney isn't conservative. They know Romney is going to govern like a Democrat. They even know Romney will never repeal Obamacare. Yet, they vote for him! GEESH!

The GOP are making sure the right person goes against BOzo. No, it’s not the right person for the good of the country but that’s the whole point. Global governance was never going to happen with a strong US so it had to be brought down from the inside. The finish line is within sight of these devils.

Newt is the only one who can slay BHO (so to speak :-) Our country is in such deep trouble that only sweeping changes can get it back on track - Newt is the only one who has outlined those changes in detail and who has the intent and skill to implement them.

Women are the biggest voting block in America. They are the ones you see when there is a shift in the poles. The majority of men pick someone and stick with them. Women are the swing voter not the group called independent. They should rename the group and call them the co-dependent.
