Assuming our only choices are Romney or Obama, which in your estimation is worse?

There can be different kinds of bad that are close to equivalent.

The Obama bad threatens to destroy the country in the next 4 1/2 years.

The Romney bad will accomplish much of the same as the Obama bad, but with Republican fingerprints and support, for perhaps eight years. During the first four Romney will do what he can to neuter all conservative resistance.

When he is done we will have the party of Marx-Mengistu vs. the party of George Romney/Nelson Rockefeller.

It's like "Let's Make a Deal", with no door #3. I can either get Johnny Olsen on a burro, or a year's supply of canned Vienna Sausage.
