Procrastinator in chief avoids debate prep, visits Hoover Dam instead

Pres Obama takes another break from debate prep to visit the Hoover Dam.

President Obama, trembling under the weight of those pesky “constraints of governing,” hasn’t exactly expressed much interest in prepping for tomorrow night’s presidential debate. In fact, just yesterday, he was whining about having to stay inside to do his debate homework. A drag, indeed. Evidently, the all work and no play got to be too much for the dull boy, and he took a field trip to the Hoover Dam.

Pres Obama was surprised to learn that most of the power generated at Hoover Dam goes to southern California & not to Las Vegas.

Obama's questions on 1st visit to Hoover Dam: Where does the power go? How long did it take to build? How many people were killed building?

During his visit, President Obama made it pretty clear that he did not want to discuss the debate:

But when reporters started asking about his debate preps, Pres Obama ended the chat and turned away.

Leading some to express concern that his priorities aren’t where they should be:

Given the president’s reluctance to even acknowledge tomorrow’s debate, it’s entirely possible that he’d rather be leaning forward than brushing up on his debating skills.

Mr. President, aren't you concerned about studying for the debate Wednesday night?

Nah, they already gave me the questions and answers. Let's go get a Big Mac

That is an excellent post Ezikiel...I am going to paste it and forward to my closest compadres here in light of that..

The meek submission to the abusive "partner" needs to stop. All of America senses this. Even the Kenyan and the rest of his bully rats and rabble have got to be wondering when the their victims will punch back.

These miscreants and destroyers are like toddlers awaiting proper discipline. Only worse because they are old enough to know better, but choose to create chaos. They sure won't right themselves on their own.

Mister President, all these crazy right wingers say there is media bias, so I am going to prove there is no media bias by asking you the most difficult question of the evening.

All right. I did go to Harvard. I can answer "difficult."

Very well Mr. President, is it difficult for you to stand on the same stage as someone who is so clearly your inferior?

Debate prep? What debate prep when you are given the questions and test out that wireless earpiece used for the debate? The questions and the answers have been rehearsed over and over. It’s time to get out and get some fresh air.

Looks like neither candidate wants the job? Are you kidding? Mitt has been running for about 6 years now, probably planning since his dad ran. He’s out campaigning almost every day, raising millions, planning strategy, etc. You gotta want to win to go through all of that work. I and most people I know wouldn’t last a week. It looks exhausting with all of the travel and living on a plane and in hotels.

Without any internal guide, these toddlers-by-choice have become increasingly feral, erratic, and destructive— they are going nuts expecting a strong outside hand to eventually stop them.

No smackdown ever comes, so they push the outrageous behavior as far as it needs to go, desperate that someone will eventually force an end to the madness.

Pretty much sums up leftists, muslims, rap culture, garden-variety abusers and bullies, the media... anyone who only functions on raw emotion and the base survival instinct of ego: power for the sake of power. Narcissists, all.

At least a 2YO doesn’t know any better, and *supposed to be* trained out of his miserable, self-serving world by his parents and other responible adults who understand the importance of civilizing the little devil.

You might be right. You usually are. But, this time, I hope you are wrong.

The one question in my mind is what has happened to all of the money that the campaign and the PACs have raised?

When are we going to see the fruits of that labor?

I’m not in a battleground state, but I am in a light blue state. Obama is 3 points ahead here, according to the last poll. Michelle was in Seattle...why?

There’s something going on and I don’t understand the reasoning behind it.

Romney’s poll numbers are getting better without the expenditures.

There’s something going on and I don’t understand the reasoning behind it.

There is a malevolent, lying, controlling spirit that hangs over Washington. It's the same one that runs the Middle East peace process. Most pols are on board with it by default (it's speaks in their native tongue - deceit), but the rest it must "invite" with whatever threat will work. Fear has been a pretty reliable motivator.

Well there goes the squishy GOP, because the spineless amoebas can be easily squished into a corner.

The GOP has allowed the enemy to dictate the terms (think "peace" process). The terms always mean surrender, death, and destruction, so long as the enemy is crafting the documents.

When are we going to see the fruits of that [fundraising] labor?

When an invertebrate in the mix is willing to stand up and claim a spine.

One president stood in stark opposition to the way of the world (and its lying spirit): Ronald Reagan. Everybody knows it. He prospered and functioned on a level so far above the media gotcha games and perverse tactics of the left that they marveled in awe and respect (even if in complete revulsion and bitterness).

He succeed because at the core of his being was Truth. Just plain old goodness, love, and strength of character. He wasn't perfect, but his heart was. That is, he was like David, a man after God's own heart (and David pulled some really evil and self-serving stunts). Reagan's enemies preferred the path of lies. Thus they could only hope to craft schemes to bring him down.

The point is, while the GOP is full of gutless worms, we know it is capable of producing a warrior (read: fearless) David who can take down Goliath with one well-aimed stone.

I've got to hope that the desperate times (of universal deceit) that have placed America into immediate peril, will push Mitt to jump on the same highway that Reagan travelled. No speed bumps, deer, or toll booths.

That's the only road out of the wilderness, yet no pol thusfar is willing to take it. *That's* what everyone is nervous about.

Speaking of polls (and Goliath), we know that truth is crucified at the place of the poll. The message was written here long ago, for anyone who finds it of interest:

Mark 15

22 And they bring him unto the place Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, The place of a skull.
23 And they gave him to drink wine mingled with myrrh: but he received it not.
24 And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take.
25 And it was the third hour, and they crucified him.

1115 Golgotha {gol-goth-ah'} of Aramaic origin [cf 01538]

01538 gulgoleth {gul-go'-leth}
by reduplication from 01556; TWOT - 353l; n f
AV - poll 7, scull 2, every man 2, head 1; 12
1) head, poll, skull
1a) skull
1b) head, poll (of census)

Screw the polls and their deceiving "expected" outcomes. What we need is for Goliath to lose *his* head at the place of the truth.

Every state is a battleground state, a valley of decision as it were.

That looks lke it could be Valerie Jarrett on his left. Maybe they did debate prep (e.g., rehearsed his answers to the questions Leher gave him) on the ride over and back.

BTW - I figured that Michelle Ma Belle was staying at the $$ resort (having a vacation), but from what I heard on the radio driving home last night, she was in Ohio yesterday telling 100s/1000s? of adoring fans to go vote and she landed in Seattle during 5 p.m. rush hour and was going to do a fund raiser at the Seattle Westin (supposedly $500-$10k/plate).

I’m just hoping that the plan has been for Romney to lull Obama and the MSM into a false sense of security by being bland pre-debate.

Then come out and smack Obama around like he did to Newt in SC, hard and repeatedly.

If he doesn’t, well, he’s going to lose.

I don’t know that we will ever find a candidate who will punch back in the way we need, because I tend to agree with wardaddy when he says that, the way the country is headed, it’s going to get harder and harder for Republicans to get elected unless they water themselves down to the point where they’re practically Democrats. And even then, the blacks, Hispanics, unions, etc. will always vote for the rats.

I’m not feeling particularly optimistic about the debate tonight. I doubt Romney is going to present himself as an anti-Obama warrior because one, it just isn’t “polite” and he believes he can get the job done being a nice guy....and two, he doesn’t want to be painted as a racist. Maybe if Obama pinned the letter “R” to his lapel, Romney might be more aggressive.

If I’m wrong about tonight, I’ll be happy to admit it.
