The overload of coverage over Barack Obama‘s tan suit has led to some unexpected consequences: Rep. Peter King (R-NY), called into The Steve Malzberg Show to rage about how “trivial” the summer suit was.
Summer suits, according to Rep. King, are not appropriate garb for talking about terrorism or ISIS, and especially when the President says he doesn’t have a strategy to deal with the resurgence of terrorism.
“For him to walk out — I’m not trying to be trivial here — in a light suit, light tan suit, saying that first he wants to talk about what most Americans care about the revision of second quarter numbers on the economy,” he seethed. “This is a week after Jim Foley was beheaded and he’s trying to act like real Americans care about the economy, not about ISIS and not about terrorism. And then he goes on to say he has no strategy.”
Maybe we, the media, have covered the tan suit too much. Maybe the joke has spiraled out of control on Twitter. Maybe, by talking about Obama’s horrendous sartorial choices, we inadvertently turned it into a commentary of his character, much like Gerald Ford became notorious for falling over things, or George W. Bush was inexplicably tied with his penchant for making up words.
Nah. Let’s write more bad suit puns.

I’m with you. In my opinion he’s nothing more than than an inconsequential blowhard with an (R?) after his name.
I would actually prefer to see Obama and Holder in a nice striped suit.
Seriously, it’s a fine suit, and the tie is lovely. Obama always looks excellent, he wears clothes as few other men can.
But we’ve been accusing him of not focusing on what’s important, but he seems to have a lot of company.
Many have remarked lately that BenghaziBarrySoebarkah has looked ill (AIDS?).
Perhaps the Nancy-boy is using the lighter color to appear fuller—dark colors makes ya look thin-light colors add the lbs. (any prissy-girl knows that!)
Unfortunately, this regime focuses on what is important to them, which does not include fighting terrorism and keeping us safe.

My problem is with the crusty blue jacket he puts on whenever there is a crisis that calls him off the golf course. The one he wore to talk about ISIS and the one he was forced to don when Osama was taken out.
His choice of suit is probably the most meaningful thing to discuss seeing as how he didn’t have anything important to say about what he was going to do about the ISIS crisis. ‘I have no strategy’ wtf kind of thing is that to say as leader of the free world? He’s not fit to run an ice cream van, never mind a country.
