She will run for the senate in Arizona when McCain retires.
Publicity only. I really do not see her running for office anytime soon. She’d lose the freedom she now has to do, say, or go anywhere.
That, or as the article goes on to say, be a vice presidential pick again. There’s a reason she is considered in the top 100 influential Americans of all time by the Smithsonian, while Mr. Obama didn’t make the list:
Obama not on Smithsonians 100 most significant Americans list; liberals in shock over who is!

I was just thinking today, that the worst mistake Sarah ever made, was to agree to be McCain’s running mate.
If she had declined his offer, she would have gone on to serve out her first term as Alaska Governor, and might have even gone another term or two before leaving office as the nation’s highest rated Governor.
She would have been perfectly positioned to be the heir apparent for the Republican nomination, and untainted by the left-wing attack machine.
I think the author is right about Sarah’s likely thoughts about 2016. As much as I’d love to see her become our nominee, there’s no way she’s going to split the conservative vote by opposing Ted Cruz. That would be a disaster for the republic, and she knows it.
What will likely happen, is if/when Ted Cruz wins the presidency, he’ll appoint her to some office in his administration. Who knows — maybe he’ll even choose her as his VP in his second term.
Sheeesh.....am I getting carried away here, or what? LOL
Good article, but Cruz/Palin isn’t in the realm of possibility. While there is an outside chance that Cruz/??? might happen, in which case he’ll pick one of the Governors to run in the VP slot. We know Sen/Sen is bad, Sen/Gov better and Gov/Senator best. Gov/Gov is alright but you really need working knowledge of the Senate in your pocket. Scott Walker if chosen will probably go Gov/Gov and then walk softly carrying a big stick type administration.
Ummm, Sarah Palin was a governor, FRiend.
Oh, back on subject .... Palin is probably hinting at a 3rd party (tea party) candidate for Pres — should the need arise. Love for her to run vs McCain ... wouldn’t that be juicy and politically salacious.
More like half a Govenor because of her early resignation. Fair or not, it will not play well on the ticket, so I didn’t bother including her.
Good gravy Gertrude, when will that nonsense end?
Palin resigned in her 32nd month.
Marry me, Sarah!
Really? Is that your argument? Being dismissive?
Over on HP some probably think Michelle Obama would fit well as #2 on the Dem ticket.
I know, that’s why I said fair or not .... getting passed the “resigned from office” is a tough hill to climb, on the 32nd month or the 40th month.
And I give a $#^+ what the HuffandBlow crowd wants now.
Dude/ette, you understand that your OP said “Comments”? Is it good form to request comments and then be generally be dismissive of them?
A ???/Palin GOP ticket would be poison.
1. Resigned from Office while under investigation (for whatever reason).
2. Already lost in the VP slot -— loser credentials.
3. She’s somewhat commercialized herself.
Just my humble opinion okay?
She seems to be enjoying her life as a pundit and “kingmaker” for up-and-coming conservatives. Why lose that independence by allowing herself to be ensconced in that DC culture of corruption?
Ha.....and the number of GOPe/RINO heads exploding will exceed that of dim heads exploding
Ululations of liberal girlie men all over.
She should run for Congress from Alaska—we could use her in Washington—but my bet is she will not run for anything—she was rendered toxic by Tina Fey and the MSM (with a little help from the Vichy Republicans).
She will run for the senate in Arizona when McCain retires.
++++
Good possibility. I wonder how much time she is actually spending in Arizona. Anyone who knows should give us an input.
