Florida Sen. Marco Rubio’s apparent decision to speed up his entry into the growing field of 2016 Republican presidential primary challengers is coming at the perfect time, as a new poll out Friday shows him moving into second place behind repeat candidate Mitt Romney.

If it came down to between Romney and Rubio as the last 2 standing in primaries, I will definitely NOT vote for Romney.

RAT Willard Romney plans to destroy the GOP and
conservatives AGAIN, and steal their money, as before.

The RINO field keeps expanding.

The more the merrier.

It makes Ted Cruz the default stand-out candidate.

This time around, if those are the last two standing when my state votes, I vote for someone else. If one of the elites wins the nod, I vote for other offices and write in someone, probably Cthulu, unless a valid alternative is on the ballot. I am pretty much over voting for the lesser evil.

More RINO’s enter the food fight, the better.
Unlike 2012, when lone RINO Romney had no competition.

It is the only and best chance guys like Cruz have of winning nomination. Because big money will go to RINO’s.

Polls at this point are meaningless exercises in name recognition. Must be a slow news day at the Examiner.

I’m surprised Rubio is a factor; he is largely unknown among the uninformed of America.

Just 4% of men polled supported Rubio.

22% of women polled supported Rubio.

Immigration policy is my number one issue.

If Rubio is nominated, I will not vote for him - ever.

While I prefer none of the above, if forced to choose between these two, I will vote Romney without hesitation.

Scott Walker would be a very reasonable compromise candidate. Acceptable to the conservative wing of the party, but not our favorite. Acceptable to the GOPe wing of the party, but not their favorite either.

That being said, the American sheeple have been dumbed down to the point where a white male would be unelectable against the latest group novelty. It is all about identity politics now.

Marco Rubio has that, but so does Ted Cruz. Plus Cruz has some GOPe credentials (Harvard graduate, looks presidential, very intelligent and well spoken) that the GOPe could swallow hard and get used to him a lot easier than we could to a squish like Rubio.
