38,000 FEET ABOVE AMERICA — Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), a likely 2016 GOP presidential candidate, tells Breitbart News he’s “gauging support” for a potential White House bid. In an exclusive interview aboard an American Airlines flight from Washington, D.C., to Dallas, Texas, he also said he thinks Republicans need to select a conservative — such as himself — as the 2016 GOP nominee for president, rather than a moderate such as former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush or New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
“I think one of the biggest debates we will see is: Do we want the leader of our party to be a moderate or a conservative?” Paul said. “I think many times in the past, conservatives have divided the vote, and we’ve wound up with a moderate. The question is whether conservatives in the party are now strong enough to unite and elect a conservative. I think that will be a big debate.”(continued)

Rand is full of BS, he endorsed and worked for Mitch reelection. Rand is almost a Rino.

Paul has taken so many sides of so many issues, he is like Romney, we will be arguing with his own opposing statements.

So let me get this straight...Rand Paul opposes himself?
Personally, I prefer Paul over Cruz...but I’d take either over Jeb or Huckabee or Santorum.
We conservatives/Constitutionalists/Libertarians need to play our cards right here and shoot ourselves in the foot while allowing another Neo-Con to ascend to the nomination.

Rand and Romney are right. We need an actual conservative, as our 2016 nominee. And, NEITHER of them fit that bill.

Well, duh. However, Rand Paul really doesn’t mean it. He’s a RINO lover.
By any measure Romney is a better man than Rand Paul.....and we know Romney is worthless.
Focus on the message, not the messenger. A stopped clock is right twice a day.
Romney is vastly inferior to Rand Paul, and to most men.
