Well I have no real faith in PPP’s polling either, but this far out, it doesn’t matter if the methodology is perfect - there’s only a little bit of info we can glean.

The Democrats have made it increasingly clear that they do not, will not grant political legitimacy to victories won by our side. This means that, when they are in opposition, that there are no limits to either strategy or tactics to frustrate and eventually to defeat the will of the People and the States, as expressed through their elected representatives and Senators.
The problem of “Obama” makes this underlying construct worse, but it does not change the fundamentals in any important way. When David Boies went into the Supreme Court of Florida to plead the position that actual arithmetical counting of votes was NOT legitimate, and that the General Will superseded any seeming result of an election, the game as it existed from 1788-1998 was basically over.
We’ve been dealing with the results ever since.
