What would the first 100 days of a Cruz administration look like?

Posted on 06/13/2015 10:48:39 AM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Earlier this week, Ted spoke with the Washington Post's James Hohmann about what the first 100 days of a Cruz administration might look like -- and we hope you're as excited for them as we are! With regard to the current administration, Ted noted, “If you live by the pen, you die by the pen. Everything put in place by executive order can be undone by executive order,” and that he'd use the transition put together a team to review every executive action made by President Obama and then rescind each and every one that exceeds "the Constitutional and legal authority of the President."

He also said he'd take quick action to ensure Iran doesn't acquire nuclear weapons, take steps to strengthen our relationship with Israel, push far-reaching tax and regulatory reform -- including a full repeal of Obamacare, and fight to put an end to Common Core. Read more from the interview here.

This week, Ted also spoke about how the upcoming King v. Burwell Supreme Court decision provides an opportunity for leadership. In the event the court rules the Obama Administration acted illegally in providing millions of Obamacare subsidies, Ted stated he opposes the approach advocated by some of continuing the subsidies through 2017. Instead he said, "I think the best legislative option is to allow states to opt out. I am cautiously optimistic that the Supreme Court will conclude in King v. Burwell that the Obama IRS disregarded the plain language of the statute and acted lawlessly. And when that occurs, it will be a real opportunity for Congress to lead. In a perfect world, we would take that opportunity to repeal Obamacare. At a minimum, we should allow states to opt out.”

We also wanted to make sure you saw this article from National Journal earlier this week. In it, Ted is deemed the "Man of the Movement" for his courtship of conservative leaders at a recent forum with six other presidential contenders. Ted was described as "pitch perfect" and it was noted he "blew everyone else out of the water." And perhaps most importantly, he laid out a real strategy to win. I hope you'll read it here.

As always, we thank you for your continued support -- together we'll reignite the promise of America!

All the best,

Jeff Roe Campaign Manager Cruz for President

P.S. Next Friday, Ted will hold townhall meetings across Iowa, and if you're in the area, we'd love to have you there. Click here to find an event near you.

....”Public opinion is changing”....

And since when has that changed how corporations utilize employees on the International Stage? At most restrictions might be made or conditions set...but that ball continues to roll because it's not going to be stopped any more than our borders being closed.

So what then to do if it can't be stopped....we need to “think” how every decision made regarding trade and anything on the International Game board is going to get the best deal ‘for our country’ over all. Until people start “thinking” from how corporations are doing business today then they'll never “get” what's best for this nation.

It's like all those complaining about fracking.....they did that in NY State and put so many restrictions on the fracking companies that they pulled out and came to Pa. As a result my hometown is absolutely beautiful...people made money left and right and continue to do so. My hometown has never been in such good shape.

The same is going to happen to countries who cooperate and get the best deals for their country. If we in the states keep fighting this and isolate this country from the reality that is really going on overseas....then we defiantly will be a 3rd world country....cause that's what we asked for!

Ted Cruz is very much in tune with the International climate and what we need to do here to be in competition with and get the best deals for this country.....he's not in the dark ages nor making decisions based on what we “were” but as what he knows we can be TODAY!...all this while maintaining and aligning with our constitution and remaining a powerful sovereign nation.

re: Your #115.
Common courtesy
requires sending a cc: to someone you
discuss, but like “Toast” Cruz you have
a seriously flawed character.

BTW, you are a terrible promoter for “Toast”
as you alienate FReepers.

Are you really nuts? If our President isn’t informed of the International climate and in tune with what they are doing...we might as well declare oursleves third world now.

Can’t believe you would think otherwise....then you become one of those who are the problem instead of the solution.

They’ll never be set to zero....you simply haven’t apparently accepted reality and are seemingly attempting to design one of your own.

I've watch the sell out of America for 40 years now, you are a symptom of the problem. We need to halt this madness. Why has every free trade agreement included monies to retrain displaced US workers?

You take it as a given that Free trade is righteous. I have news for Free Traitors I don't give sh!t about the world and gloBuLLIsts. I care about the USA and its standard of living. I don't care if the rest if the world has to survive on one wheat thin a day that is their problem.

I am convinced President Cruz will not do that. Walker perhaps but not Cruz.

With that attitude you might very well find this country “surviving on a wheat thin a day”.

The time when we could have stopped the Global Agenda is long long past....it's like crying over spilled milk now...as you said you've watched it 40 yrs....and here it is.

Nobody likes this Central VA,.....we'd love for our country to be as it once was but that's not going to happen unless we isolate this nation and that will be impossible given we are dependent on other nations in trade, and have been for decades, and now.

I'd love to see this nation as it was....but it's not and we can only now do what is best for the era that it is in. I believe Ted Cruz has the answers in how we can and do so that will benefit this country...he's a Patriot...loves our nation and isn't about giving anything away without it far more benefiting our people.

Walker will not take visas to zero either....he was for them before he was against them if you recall...like Cruz they both want American workers with jobs but understand the international climate and coporations who are actively seeking the best they can get for the buck.

What we have is an ‘unrestrained immigration’ of ‘low level people’... coupled a with select High level component, an off-shoring of technology and manufacturing and its related skilled jobs,......and an education system that exists solely to protect union jobs and funding for democrat politicians.

Why more americans are not hired is our education system stinks to high heaven. Young people coming out of high school are at the level of 6th grade.... College students that have an average grade are equivalent to my 10th grade education......... So, the reason that we can’t compete in the market place (meaning business) is that we don’t have those people who are the least bit innovative.

As far as I’m concerned whenever Cruz is on the opposite side of the unions you know he’s doing something right.
