I’d like to see Trump/Gingrich but I’ve been hearing rumors that Gingrich may be his Chief of Staff so I would imagine it would be Trump/West2016
But I fear those bridges have been burned. ----------------------------------------------
I don't think it's too late for that, this is politics after all and I take what they say about each other with a grain of salt. Besides Trump needs to pick some southerner because two yanks on the same ticket isn't going to win an election, at least for the Republicans.

Trump as VP on any ticket will never happen.
If it’s Cruz/Rubio, Hillary wins by about the same margin as Bonzo did against establishment losers McCain & Romney. Cruz goes from being Teddy The Tiger when attacking Trump to being Rick Lazio 2.0 vs. Hillary, wilting and then collapsing under an avalanche of media criticism if he dares even run a normal campaign.
Just like 2008/2012 with McCain/Romney we’ll all be wondering where the Republican nominee’s “fight” went and why he’s turned into such a wimp all of a sudden, but standing up to a 24/7 media onslaught — not to mention several dozen lawsuits (probably one in every state) concerning his eligibility — will take its toll.
The liberal media along with Cruz’s “conservative” allies and water boys like Mitt Romney and the rest of the GOPe will no longer be propping Teddy up like they are now — there’ll no need to because the one man they fear most (Trump) will be out.
Cruz/Rubio would have both their eligibility questioned.

My preference is Sen. Cruz for President, and a governor for VP, e.g., Scott Walker or maybe John Kasich.

That was my dream ticket from the beginning, Im still hoping something can be worked out. Heck look at what went on in 2008, Obama/Clinton, they had a horrible feud, and at the end they came together(Not because he wanted to but because the Clintons had the goods on Obama had he no choice)
That’s actually a pretty interesting choice I never thought of him, he would be great I love how he stands up for police!
