Not gonna lie.
I pray for this ticket.
I can’t think of anything more politically exciting in my lifetime.
Then we hollow out the party and elect Freedom Caucus candidates.

No GOP power broker is stupid enough to award the presidential nomination ... That would be the death of the Republican Party I voted for Cruz, but at this point, the death of the Republican Party is assured if the "GOP power brokers" are stupid enough to manipulate the rules so that Trump does not win.
Cruz is not going to win, but perhaps candidates stay in the race in order to get some of their strongly held beliefs into the party platform. Otherwise, Cruz and certainly Kasich should go ahead and get out.

Kasich hasn’t been publicly vetted yet.
It’s not going to be pretty, and I’m afraid it’s going to be really bad for momentum.

Ronald Reagan went all the way in 1976 against Gerald Ford.

If it avoids Hillary getting in office, I’m in.

If Trump and Cruz get rid of Kasich tbey should have a toe to toe debate without him.
Makes sense to me. I would love to see it.
I think Ted Cruz would win it and then Trump would probably benefit the most from it unless Cruz talks his ideals instead of attacking Trump for what so many don’t care about.

Country before ambition. If Ted truly wants to destroy the DC cabal, he will withdraw from the race and endorse Trump.

Dear Wayne,
I believe the root of your problem is your failure to notice the race isn’t over.
Trump won’t have 1237 going into the convention and certainly won’t get to 1237 on a second ballot!

Yeah. I’ve been saying it for months. Trump will be the nominee. So if Cruz wants to be a part of that he needs to make the call.

I know you and I support different candidates. No question that two activities,
most painful to all concerned, would be required:
1) eat humble pie
2) bury the hatchet
Were they convinced that this was for the good of the Republic, and candidly made this
proposal to their voters, I would be agreeable (no, no one seeks my agreement).
This is one option that I could accept because Trump would accept it, and I trust him.
I assume Cruz followers might come to the same acceptance.

..Nope. Folks in other states still have a right to vote. If he wants to concede at the convention then fine...
The sooner he does it, the less embarrassed he will be.

I hope Ted stays in...as long as he is active in the race there is hope for those of us who want a constitutional conservative (and a Christian) for president.

Ted is a principled conservative, and hes a fighter! Hell fight the good fight guns ablazing as he always does.
Too bad he doesn't fight BLM and MoveOn.Org with the same intensity he fights fellow Republicans.
