Romney got more votes than Cruz in Texas in 2012.
Didn’t Cruz win the majority in Utah and Maine and maybe one more state?
The only real candidates were Cruz and Trump, the other’s were non-factors.
That’s the most stupid thing I heard.
He did, but if they don’t report it, it never happened!
No, he will start plotting on how to steal the delegates.
Don’t forget to count those Elizabeth Gray votes. How could Cruz get 50% with that competition. LOL.
That’s true there were more candidates then.
Bill Clinton won twice without the majority.
Speaking of that, why does anyone think that the dems went to so much trouble to make people believe that Obama was born on American soil?
The answer is because if you do not have a US birth certificate, you do not qualify to be POTUS.
Simple as that!
Cruz does not qualify to be POTUS.
Manipulating the delegates and winning the nomination after winning less than one-third of the states would disenfranchise the voters and make a mockery of the election process.
You really don't think the majority of Trump supporters would vote for him under that scenario, do you?
He has Bush's narrow path to victory to begin with and would lose a minimum of 20% of the base (more than that if Trump ran third party). He has no chance of winning the general election.
Worse, his loss would be blamed by the GOPe on conservatism rather than on Cruz's sleazy tactics and his creepy Nixionian personality. Of course, with a far-left wing Supreme Court, elections won't matter much anyone after that.
Bill Clinton got 68% of the vote in his home state primary in a four way race.
Great role model.
Clinton never won a majority of the popular vote, but each time (thanks to Perot) he managed to win a majority of the electoral college votes, which is all that matters.
Why do Trump supporters keep ignoring the fact that at least half of the 63% of Republican voters who voted for someone other than Trump say that THEY will NEVER vote for Trump?
but he wont take his own advice ... he hates Trump more than he loves the country.
It is what it is. Lincoln won in a 4-way race in 1860.
The "non-factors" collectively won 30% of the vote. You only want to count the votes for Cruz and Trump? Fine, then Cruz won 62% of the vote.
You do understand that more people voted for Trump than have voted for Cruz.
Are you math challenged?
Unless Trump gains 1,237 delegates, which looks increasingly unlikely, Cruz isn’t “eliminated” from anything. Right?
Yeah, in NY, Cruz is the 1/2 ... he should just drop ... for once we agree.
