That “fighting for” thing is mentioned by F.A.Hayek in THE ROAD TO SERFDOM.
Of course, what it means is that your money has been stolen by the central government, so that representives buy votes by promising to “fight” to bring the money back to your state, town, etc.
EVERY Kent Conrad and Byron Dorgan ad was about “fighting for North Dakota.”

I don’t recall Reagan saying that if he lost there would be riots. Reagan understood that as a presidential candidate he was to remain classy and calm and not incite trouble. But then Reagan was a great man, one of America’s greatest presidents, and Donald Trump is a thug.

There is nothing to judge, since Ted is blocking discovery.
You are the one who is lacking facts, and hence no foundation to form an interpretation, since you have no proof of Ted’s past history.
