5 Reasons Donald Trump Could Do Better Than Predicted
The Federalist ^ | May 5, 2016 | Mollie Hemingway

Analysts predict a blowout for Hillary Clinton. Here's why they might be wrong.

Donald Trump has all but won the Republican nomination to be president of the United States. His fans have long said that he’s the candidate to beat Hillary Clinton and will do so easily. They believe, as Newt Gingrich recently said, that Trump “puts all 50 states in play.” New York candidate for U.S. Senate Wendy Long, who lost her previous campaign for the seat by more than 40 points, says that Trump won’t just get her elected, but “will lift the entire GOP ticket.” Rush Limbaugh says his “gut” is that Trump will beat Hillary in a “landslide.”

People who are less enthusiastic about Trump look at the data and predict an absolute bloodbath. They say that Republicans need to keep the married female votes they have and gain a much larger chunk of single female voters if they want to have a chance at winning the presidency. The analysts say Republicans also need to make gains with Hispanics and other minority groups. A recent NBC/Wall Street Journal poll shows that 47 percent of female Republican primary voters said they would not vote for Trump and 70 percent (not a typo — 70 percent) of women voters in general have a negative view of him. Other recent polls show similar results. A nationwide Latino Decisions poll of registered Hispanic voters found 87 percent had an unfavorable view of Trump. A Washington Post/Univision poll had 8 out of 10 Latinos viewing Trump negatively.

And polls show that while Trump could put formerly predictable states in play during the general election....

Van Jones is saying Trump will probably be president. Not endorsing, just facing the cold hard reality.

I hope so. They say if its too good to be true it probably is. And I still remember Trump in his leftist New York days. I hope and pray to God that he has changed for the better.

I have never seen the leftist, liberal, complicit media conduct an election so far ahead of the election. These gutter-crawlers are a disgrace to this nation...like the Rats they side with.

Think again!

With Trump as the GOP candidate, many there ARE going to vote for him; many there HATE Hillary!

With all the media and otherwise attacks on Trump, he could do much better - free publicity.

If you look at how he thrives on FREE publicity (now given he has popular support from a section of the voting population in the USA too), you’ll know he will do his utmost in this election.

Additionally, he can swing to the left and right of Hillary, because Hills is fairly established in her trackrecord in political views & actions.

No one has ever seen Trump in action in politics or in government. Trump is the wild-card, and he will play all cards to his advantage.

If he becomes POTUS, he will cool down thereafter, and change accordingly - he is a chameleon like Obama. Then again, after all, he is nothing if not a businessman and knows what’s good for him. And, it’s all about HIM, for HIM.

Trump is impossible to label, pigeon hole or predict. And isnt that the essence of a good deal maker, a gambler. I am happy with him on 3 or 4 big things, beyond that Donald will be like a box of chocolates...

I expect him to win in a landslide. But if he can do better than that, I won’t complain.

That’s right...People have tried to look at Trump as a “politician”...He is not...

As a successful businessman, he has courted liberals when need be and he has courted conservatives when need be...That is smart business...

When he saw the direction the country was headed and the slovenly UNIPARTY doing NOTHING, he decided to keep his businesses from following the country, he would do something...

He is going to become president and lift the country back to where it should be and his companies along with it...

If you go back listen to Trump in the 80s you’ll find many of his beliefs of today.

BTW, I will never vote for the Rabid Chipmunk, either, but I refuse to endorse EITHER of these two liars. 350 Million people, and this is the trash that we supposedly have to choose from? You choose. Be careful what you wish for, because they are both worthless.

Trump’s converted Rick Perry, John McCain, and Vincent’s Fox in just one day, by election time he may even have Bernie supporting him!
