Despite an increasing lead over businessman Donald Trump in head-to-head matchups, presumptive Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is struggling to connect in some reliably blue states.
Washington Post authors Philip Rucker and John Wagner report that there's concern among Clinton supporters who believe Trump might do well in three Rust Belt states: Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
"In Michigan, Pennsylvania and, to a lesser extent, Wisconsin, an affinity for Trump's message of economic populism and nationalism has surprised many Democrats," Rucker and Wagner wrote. "These are big, industrial states they have carried for the past three decades — and where Clinton, so far, has not fully focused."
In Pennsylvania, Clinton and Trump are in a statistical tie, according to RealClearPolitics polling averages. In Michigan, Trump closed the gap between the two candidates considerably once he became the GOP nominee....

How can hitlery be in this position? I’ve heard and read that she has a double digit lead over Trump. This can’t be. Must be a mistake. Don’t know if a sarc tag applies but if so, apply.
I just drove all the way around Wisconsin. Lot of Trump signs in areas you would expect. In the college areas of LaCrosse, Eau Claire and Madison, lots of Bernie stickers. I’m guessing he didn’t make signs..??.. Other various sightings of Trump and Bernie hats, bumper stickers, shirts and what not. In 5 days of traveling, I saw exactly one Hillary item. A yard sign right in downtown Madison off of State St. It was in the yard of a large, nice home. Obviously not a college rental.
Hownever, since she has a such a commanding lead in the national polls, t doubt she is too concerned with a couple or three blue states.
Or something.
The problem is.....Dems are such sheep. If she is the nominee, they will vote for her. They don’t want to give up all their bennies.

True. I think it will boil down to turnout.
In 2008, Obama won PA by 10.3 points...in 2012 he won with half that margin. Romney gave the state up...Last year 75,000 Democrats switched to Republican ... PA is winnable for Trump.
I find it amusing that Hitlery can be well ahead of Trump and yet still be struggling. Why one might even think that the poll results are simply pulled out of thin air. No one actually knows if these polling companies actually made the calls they did or just invented them out of whole cloth.
